I’m really tired. I have 2 children under 4, and got strep throat - feeling really run down and rough for about a week or so now (not covid).

I desperately need to catch up on some sleep, as my eldest will likely wake me up around 6am tomorrow morning demanding I play with him.

Why the **** am I still going to watch the first session tonight? What’s wrong with me?

Perhaps played, or not played it, from the crease. It's been noticeable how he hangs the bat out in Australia. He just cannot adapt. You can see why they had the short square (taken out now).

England have left the ball well. The worry is the one that seams back. But if they are judging their lengths they should be fine. Well, should.

I so wish they'd won the toss. Lots of seam, but not much swing mind.
