Feel for Dunk, but individual errors have cost us that half and potentially the final nail in our European story.

Have to have a massive half, get within 1 and I think we’ll do em at the Amex, but I feel it’s damage control..

The negativity on here is crazy, we are Brighton, first year ever in Europe never mind the europa league, yes we might have been outplayed at times here, yes we have made mistakes but we do not look out of place against a team that is looking to reach the final of a European competition for the 3rd year in a row. I don’t understand how people could be so negative and down. We are playing in one of the most iconic stadiums in European football in the knockout stages of European football. Enjoy the moment we are never expected to get results here.

Poor, naive.

What happened to the rapid incisive attacks that RDZ was known for? It's all a bit Potter again recently, huff puff huff puff.

But the reason we're losing is crap defending again. Switching off with the high line for the first. Dunk error and Steele rooted in no man's land for the second.
It's not even that. Potter had us good defensively. That was the tradeoff. RDZ works only when the offense out performs the defense/papers over the defensive cracks. Potter was the other way around.

We needed to inject Mitoma with fentany and speed and 60mins out of him for this game. Without an in form Mitoma and Pedro we are fu*ked.

Out midfield looks lightweight too.

The moment Caicedo and MacA left, it was THE game-changer.

Dahoud, Gilmour, Baleba, Milner couldn’t lace their DM skills boots.

Enciso and Naughty over playing, trying to beat 3 Roma defenders, they look vulnerable in the air from crosses mind,so ball out wide for Adinga and Lamptey to feed Welbs or Ferguson.

Very frustrating. De Zerbi ball is looking more and more like Potter ball lately. We should not be losing this game 2-0. Enciso keeps giving the ball away, good in one on ones, but too raw when they double up on him, doesn’t know how to hold the ball up. Got to get back to Sussex no more than 1 goal down otherwise it’s probably tie over.

When we throw the EPL games prior to this game to rest players that comes with expectations. If we are not expected to get results here don't test the team in the EPL.

So lightweight after losing a couple of players. January investment was needed to maintain the push, it didn’t come so these results and run of form will.

Doesn’t take a genius to see RDZ will be off in the summer, the body language, the wording in press conferences, his whole demeanour has changed the past few months and that to me has massively impacted this team. The “togetherness” has gone

Enciso and Bacu poor. Need to replace them in second half.
Enciso looking really poor and off the pace but then look how long he's been out. Bacu is plenty involved but has the bad habit of just head down running into traffic. Needs to keep his head up.

Schoolboy from Dunky as just needed row z at that stage. If there's any way back it has to be getting Adingra around the back. If we make a sub my God is there ever a time for Ferguson to regain his form.

It’s ‘Buonanotte’ and he’s doing ok but getting shut down by 2 or 3 defenders each time - he’s working harder than anyone in the final third off the ball but Roma are packing out the central area very well making it difficult for us to penetrate or for Buonanotte to get involved. Ensico ( note spelling) has just come back from a long injury so is slightly off the pace - he’s still a better option than the U21s or Fati on the bench..
Automatically ignoring any points you make if your primary focus seems to be correcting my spelling.

Well it's only a quarter of the match gone, we've created a couple of decent chances. We're not out of it but need to seriously liven up at the back. Get those crosses in early too, Danny has the beating of his marker.

I'd like to see Baleba get a run out, he showed some real speed and power at Fulham, just what we need.

Can't keep harping back can we. Peter Ward wanted to leave.

Lewis saw it bounce off his leg and said “f***” immediately. He knew.

From viewing on the telly it’s looked like men against boys. We don’t look up to Roma’s level physically, with Buananotte and Enciso looking particularly out of place, but even Adingra, Lamptey, Van Hecke and Gross looking lightweight. Lamptey isn’t pulling up trees against the fella he’s up against, he seems to be getting at least matched for pace.

We visibly look like the school chess club playing against professional athletes. I do feel that we’re being outclassed. We’re going to have to play some to turn this one around.
