Interestingly our only two clean sheets of the season have come without Dunk in the side he’s made some right clangers this season.

Negative Nellies all out tonight
Yeah - talking some shite too - signing out of here before the sky falls in.

We’re losing against one of the best teams in Europe, Europa Cup winners and runner ups yet the lads as a whole are creating chances and responding well - we haven’t rolled over for this.

The negativity on here is crazy, we are Brighton, first year ever in Europe never mind the europa league, yes we might have been outplayed at times here, yes we have made mistakes but we do not look out of place against a team that is looking to reach the final of a European competition for the 3rd year in a row. I don’t understand how people could be so negative and down. We are playing in one of the most iconic stadiums in European football in the knockout stages of European football. Enjoy the moment we are never expected to get results here.
Exactly this. Bit of realism needed. We are away from home against a very decent European experienced team, while missing key players.

It’s ‘Buonanotte’ and he’s doing ok but getting shut down by 2 or 3 defenders each time - he’s working harder than anyone in the final third off the ball but Roma are packing out the central area very well making it difficult for us to penetrate or for Buonanotte to get involved. Ensico ( note spelling) has just come back from a long injury so is slightly off the pace - he’s still a better option than the U21s or Fati on the bench..
You might want to check your spelling there too

The moment Caicedo and MacA left, it was THE game-changer.

Dahoud, Gilmour, Milner couldn’t lace their DM skills boots.
It’s easy and obvious to keep saying this but there’s every sign tonight that with Mitoma, March and Joao Pedro we’d have still been very much in with a chance. Mac had given great service. Caicedo turned out to be a twat. If keeping them was an option, it’d be fair enough to keep moaning about it.

It's the sequel to the Fulham blockbuster.

Well it's only a quarter of the match gone, we've created a couple of decent chances. We're not out of it but need to seriously liven up at the back. Get those crosses in early too, Danny has the beating of his marker.
I agree and unfortunately our manager needs to wisen up tactically, defence is 50% of the game.

If we lose by the odd goal it would give us a chance at home. Let’s hope RDZ has wise words and sensible tactics for the second half.
I still reckon we look class out there.

Think we will see Lallana for Enciso to try and control the final 3rd a little better. Adingra needs to be given the ball far more, he’s clearly got the beating of their RB. A goal changes this game completely and even a 2-1 loss isn’t the end of the world.

We were actually favourites to qualify in this tie. Being 0-2 at half time in the first leg is definitely a poor start.

When we throw the EPL games prior to this game to rest players that comes with expectations. If we are not expected to get results here don't test the team in the EPL.
Just because we’ve rested players does not mean we should be expected to win? Our best 11 no matter who anybody thinks that is would not be expected to win this game? We are doing well other than two easily avoided goals but how can we blame anyone on such an occasion like this for players and fans.
