Or Mr Porky's if you're desperate.

It's no wonder the whole country is going to hell in a handcart.
We need to take a good hard look at ourselves.
I'd be rioting, throwing bottles and pissing everywhere if all I was offered was something called 'Low Fat Pork Crunch'.

Its this sort of passion - right here - in this thread - that makes me proud to be part of.... something.

Pure, raw emotion. I love it

I know with passionate, educated people like you in the world we will be all right. getting to the hear of the matter - the important issues

I was having a bad day, feeling a but low and BOOM - sorted. instantly. Feeling ready for the fight and what ever the day brings.

incidentally these are the daddy's

A truly artisan pork scratching can be found in bars in Spain:

Jesus wept.

Imagine living in a country with that AND Claudia Rodriguez.
We're totally delusional if we think we can lure Marc Cucurella away with a bag of

When I can be arsed (not that often) I make my own with extra salty (smoked sea salt) home made Ras el Hanout.

I am happy to acknowledge that some might consider this somewhat poncy.

Brighton Sausage Company? They do some excellent stratchings, with some chilli ones

FFS pork scratchings must not have additional flavourings to them.

So for anyone who is mad enough to say that they like port scratchings with salt n vinegar or any other flavour, if you were cooking a pork roast at home, would you actually smoother your pork joint in vinegar. no of course you wouldn't so therefore vinegar has no place on pork scratchings.

I've tried the poncy pork, including snaffling pig which I believe has a connection on here, but the taste and value is to be had by buying a kilo off eBay that just gets sent in a plastic bag

With you up to the last one.

The rest offer nothing new - just an attempt to cash in on the scratchling zeitgeist by offering the same (or probably inferior) product but with hipster branding.

But I'd give the vegan ones a go. That's something genuinely different. And vegan's have rights too.

Mrs GB got me a pork scratching advent calendar last Christmas from the Snaffling Pig. Yes, an actual small bag of scratchings every day for 24 days. No wonder I'm fat. You'll be surprised to know that the flavoured ones are nowhere near as good as your good old fashioned normal scratching.

They do a good bag in The Foghorn.

careful with your reasoning there, you would support mustard or honey glazed scratchings?

This what I love about North Stand Chat! Completely random empassioned debates about trivial issues (except it not trivial at all). For what its worth I agree with the OP salty traditional goodness only! None of this multi flavoured, light and airy puffy nonsense!!
