TAA looks injured. White's ball didn't help but this could be a big break...

Seen the replay - didn’t see anything wrong with Whites ball under pressure!?

Have to say was a very cool, assured debut from Ben. If that shot on the edge of the box went in it’d have capped it off.

He can play in midfield as well as across the back. Surely he has to make the squad if Trent is injured.

Dunky is ALWAYS on the line when keepers go flapping - glad that he has schooled Ben in this sort of thing because it’s pretty obvious he didn’t learn it at Leeds!

White must've been looking across at Coady when he moved to the back and thinking 'who the hell is this chump'?

Straight out of the Dunky playbook.

Sako may have scored the winner but the 3 points must surely be down to that world class positioning and class defending from England’s Ben White [emoji6]
Credit must also go to Leeds for the way they trained him into making clearances of that quality. Should put at least another 20mill to his value?

What does 'being ready for the Euros' entail?

Well it’s the second biggest stage in football really isn’t it so don’t feel he has the experience to play at a big tournament yet. He’s only played one season in the prem. aside out of the 26 nearly half of them won’t play a meaningful game at the Euros tbh.

Surely White has to be the best fit to replace TAA? Never like to see any player injured but I’m sure Trent’s done his hammy.

Does he still have all his limbs?
Does he still play for Liverpool?

Yes?

Then he's on the plane/train/automobile.

Stop building it up and hyping it up for a big moan when he doesn’t replace TAA! He probably won’t - everyone on the thread was moaning about 4 RBs now you’re calling for a right sided defender to replace him

Hardly any of them have played in 'major' international tournaments. How can Phillips be ready but White not?

Southgate will be crying on the phone now to the FAHQ, as mighty White saved his bacon......

Come on Southgate ffs!

I’m worried who will partner Stones as Maguire won’t be fit for the groups you’d think. None of those 3 fill me with confidence. We’re a class CB and striker short in this squad - maybe CM too.

Sheebo, I just wanted to say that I love and share your enthusiasm re: England. NSC generally seems cynical about the Three Lions, so it's nice to have somebody else who is excited about our chances this Euros - come on England!!! :rave:

We'll all be going apeshit in two weeks, you watch.
People love a moan before hand but once the competition starts....

Godfrey was all over the place when he came on. I don’t think he’s even looked that great for Everton. Southgate will probably pick him to replace TAA as he plays for a “big” club.

Like Mings top level experience, Kelvin Phillips?

Do you see Spain saying that with Sanchez, who is expected to start on Friday?

Don’t think he’ll take White if TAA is out. He’ll include another midfielder as he saint the 4 right sided players were there as the best footballers. Whites not ready for the Euros yet - take Lingard and add some more flair.

Don't think he will either, he should do though. I think we need more defensive cover and Ben is versatile in the CB and DM role.

Ben is ready to sit on the bench at the Euros for sure, you and I could do that.

Also Ben has flair for a CB.

Also would be great to give he and his bessie Kalv some quality time together.
Leeds fans are gonna love all those instagram posts when they're roomies!
