TBH with you that's pretty good for one player that can't shoot and one that's perma-injured. :)

But I know what you mean. Take a step back and it's not a terrible deal in a post-covid world. If Biss wants to leave we shouldn't stand in his way. A club with a league status as precariously balanced as our can't afford to have a want-away CMF.

Let's see. I'm optimistic we may start next season with no serious sales from the first team. Christmas may be different. Ultimately, the player needs to want to be here - if not then we need to get as much money as poss!

It would be a huge amount of cash to cover our massive losses, and in Covid times?

The story is of course a lot of gash, but realistically it wouldn't be a bad price for the pair.

Living in North East London for 20 years, I have grown to hate Arsenal fans sense of entitlement. Whilst it's annoying in City fans when they have to lose a game to Brighton, Arsenal fans genuinely think they are the bollox and can have any player they take a fancy to. When Wenger was on his last legs they moaned as if they had been dragged to the foot of the fourth division and been cast adrift, whilst their ground had been sold off by a bunch of pirate profiteers. They would always wonder why I was unmoved by their plight. Actually so would West Ham fans.

With Ryan, Bissouma and Lamptey all going to Arsenal I'm fully expecting the new Arsenal home strip to be Blue and White Stripes.

On a more serious note, why would either Bissouma or Lamptey consider moving to a club which will not be able to offer European Football.

Tripled Salary?

I doubt it's true but we'd be stupid to turn down £70m for those two. Obviously some of that would end up at Chelsea but it would be a very good bit of business.

I might not be so keen if Veltman hadn't turned out to be as good as he is. Add in that Moder is looking really good and I think the club would sell.

Seem to recall reading somewhere that the club won't stand in the way as that has repercussions when they want to sign young prospects in the future.

I just dont see anyone putting any kind of money on the table for a player who has been injured for six months. I really cant see Lamptey moving anywhere this summer.

I'm sure that Biss can sabotage his prospects with an OG and a clumsy tackle for a red on Sunday.

If their example with David Luiz suggests anything, that’d earn him a 3 year contract with them!

Thankfully Tony is a smart man.

It would be terrible business.

I don’t think Lamptey is going anywhere yet. But if he has a good (and inujury free) season he’ll have his pick of the big clubs.

Biss is almost certainly going this summer, it could be Arsenal. But I hope not. He deserves a better club than that.

If we signed a player for big money whose game is all about pace who had had a hamstring injury that required surgery, we'd assume that the recruitment department had lost its collective mind. (What's that you say? Locadia?)

For all anyone knows, his speed may be compromised or this might be one of those recurring injuries that never quite clears up, like Michael Owen's. Not even a basket case of a club like Arsenal would be crazy enough to sign Lamptey until he'd proved his fitness over a period of time.
