I was told by someone in the ticket office that Arsenal were "furious" they were "only" getting around 4,000. They were saying they have more than 6,000 members who automatically qualified for a ticket for the game, so there are a lot of angry Arsenal fans out there (presumably) because they can't come and watch Brighton and Hove Albion. I like that.

Well they probably will have 6,000 in the ground, just not all in the away end.

How?

Tickets have only been sold to people on the database with loyalty points

It was my "little joke" about some of our new STH's having split loyalties.

I've found that telling them to go f*** themselves has done the trick in terms of getting the message across at my place of work.

I take it you ae seen the amount of arsenal fans on the trains at weekends. Coming home after the millwall game, practically the whole train was full of gooners

I f***ing hate arsenal a mid table prem team who are still living off past glories. In years gone by a FA cup game at Brighton would have been a hindrance to their season but they are so bad at the moment that it is a huge game giving that the FA cup is their last realistic chance of winning something this season.
After 7 trophyless seasons I expect them to take defeat at the Amex in their stride.

Ironically I was just reading the thread, when a inlaw Gooner phoned (first time!) offering twice face value - told him no of course, but he's desperate enough to come back for an improved multiple! Made him laugh when he wanted a wager, moi said we'll do you over, since you'll be knackered! a scarf as a wager...

Lucky the plastic Arsenal fans got any tickets - they don't deserve the AmEx.
Hope they rot in hell between Three Bridges and Haywards Heath

f***ing right.

The most fickle fans I have ever seen,They cheer their team when they win & boo them when they lose.Just like their manager who sees every offence againt his team but none committed by his team.
