But if they formed a coalition with CPRE and the Downsmen wouldn't these two be equally responsible and unlike the Parish Council be in the firing line to recover costs from?
I guess the CPRE will not be interested in an appeal. They have loads of other issues to deal with nationally and would probably view an appeal at Falmer as money wasted.
The downsmen or south downs society, I'm not so sure of, but doubt they have that much money spare.
