Living abroad now, and only getting back for occasional games having kept my season ticket. This is one, frankly, I'm not unhappy to miss. They're just awful experiences - the shit going on in town, the appalling nervousness leading up to it, the feeling of terror at any prospect of losing. And I'm just a ball of tightly wound fury at these games - I've even always kept away from my missus insofar as is possible on these days.

They're effing brilliant if we win them, of course...

Brighton factually.....
Had an awful day, exactly like when we lost at home ffs Murray....

I am more scared that this could give them the impetus they need, having said that we are capable of beating them and if we do I’m certain we will stay up, so for me it’s crucial we win.

In a meeting with a Palace fan tomorrow. We’ve been winding each other up for years. If it’s not a draw, only one of us will be in attendance.

Bought a print at home ticket months ago, but spent the whole afternoon thinking of reasons not to go! Too cold? Too much hassle with CPFC supporters, walking round ground opposite from usual, after game to get coach? No just too bloody scared we'll lose!

Are their fans bloody scared too, do you think?

After all, they need the points more.

Can’t concentrate on work, and I’m busy with multiple deadlines today, haven’t been able to eat yet and will need to if I wish to avoid getting too plastered too quickly later.

Pathetic for a 37 year old but wouldn’t change it for the world.

Obviously I’m a Palace fan but, add 20 years to your age, and I feel exactly the same.

Daft how a game of football can affect us all in the same way.

I still live for these games, just love the additional edge.

Conversely, it’s great watching two other clubs or nations meet where you don’t favour one. Good for the ticker.
