I'm not enjoying it at all. It's much tougher being overseas as you miss out on all of the fun of the build up, you only get the gut wrenching nerves of the match(played in the early hours of the morning) and whatever the result there is no one to commiserate/celebrate with.

I desperately hope we batter them but fear that gimp Zaha will do for us again. The ****.

I don’t understand people who don’t enjoy these games, or don’t look forward to them. I would say that football is really so important to your life that it means you can’t even enjoy these games, then you should probably find another hobby. It’s meant to be enjoyable! Sure, it’s fitting if we lose, but it’s brilliant if we win. I don’t understand how anyone can be so worried about it that they aren’t looking forward to it- if that’s really the case then what’s the point?

I'm really looking forward to the match, it's as close as any white Anglo-Saxon middle aged, middle class bloke gets to feeling like a WWI soldier about to go over the top.

****in hate the palace games! Since the Amex, I have missed 2, the 0-0 in the playoff first leg and the 3-0 win. All the others have been depressing.

Did the 46 who said they're just excited witness the 2 defeats at the Amex!? After the last one, how can anyone be anything but anxious...

Can’t concentrate on work, and I’m busy with multiple deadlines today, haven’t been able to eat yet and will need to if I wish to avoid getting too plastered too quickly later.

Pathetic for a 37 year old but wouldn’t change it for the world.

A win tonight would genuinely feel sweeter than the 0-1 McShane I think.

Feel the same and I’m 48 pathetic init
