In a pile of football shirts
Because there's obviously a more limited number of wheelchair accessible spaces available.
Indeed, just 10 of them, and they are on the Roma side of the divide between the Brighton fans and the Roma fans, so I am informed by a wheelchair user who is going.

How much will flights be for those having to wait until tomorrw to see if they have a ticket and will there be any flights
I've just booked flights with Air Italia from Heathrow on 7th:

Dep 07:00 to Milan Linate arrive 9:55
Dep Milan Linate 11:00 to Rome arrive 12:05

Return on 8th

Dep Rome 10:00 to Milan Linate arrive 11:10
Dep Milan Linate 12:15 to London City arrive 13:10

£295 return.

For the same price I could have gone back to Heathrow but it would have been an 8am flight from Rome and with the train strikes I was a little bit cautious so opted for a later flight. I'm getting a lift to Heathrow and easy for me to get train home from City Airport so works out well. For an extra £150 you can return direct Rome to LHR.

I could have used Easy Jet for the London to Milan part and gone from Gatwick but I just thought any problems with the connection Air Italia will sort it, they fly from Milan to Rome every hour during the day.

WizzAir are doing direct flights from Gatwick for about £475 return I think. I can't believe anyone is paying BA £800 for a return flight so I kept thinking their prices will come down but not yet - I hope they have an half empty plane the greedy buggers!

The cost of a private jet between London and Rome is quoted as between $16,500 and $32,000.

Yes, seems pricey at first glance but once you factor in it avoids short-term parking fees and a sandwich from WHS at Stansted, it begins to look like value.
How many seats

Okay, I've just registered to Roma on their website, but it won't let me buy any home tickets. Is there a waiting period before I can purchase tickets?

.

use the contact form and ask if there's any dedicated VIP/premium seats for Brighton fans and can you purchase direct from Roma...... as was the case in Athens, and report back reply for others.

Especially if there are two of you going.

Can’t find anything from any London airport under £550 for a Weds flight. Starting to have second thoughts now. Can’t really justify that, let alone afford it.
We are flying to Pescara and hiring a car. Currently £240 on Ryanair flying out from Stansted at 11:50 Wednesday returning 21:40 Friday.

About 2.5 hrs drive
Small car will cost you about £30. I found a good hire car company that charges £0 deposit on credit card and a small fee for enhanced insurance.

I doubt anyone will easily get a ticket for the home ends, however, that said I know people that have visited to watch a Roma league game and they had no trouble purchasing. That was a few years ago.

Can you ride your rented moped straight to your seat ?
Probably, but don’t leave it unattended when you go for a piss.

the tickets are now only available to STH and Cup STH (see just under the buy tickets button)

if you go to Match details in the first expandable section you see tickets go on sale to general public starting from 4:00 PM thursday (I am assuming that is CET)

I have no idea if this will work, but for Athens game, some Albion without tickets emailed AEK direct and asked about VIP seats (where bloom and the bigwigs will bo doubt seat) and they were allowed to buy in a dedicated block direct from AEK.

Not all well heeled Albion fans will want to be in the beer luzzing section with us riff raff!
the only thing about those seats that were VIP were the costs. otherwise they were just normal seats at a higher price (I heard that this was to help pay for their newish stadium, but did not check). I was most disappointed when there were no (vegetarian prawn) sandwiches.

Do you remember the cost out of interest? Relative to AMEX starbursts
