Something that occurred to me, watching the highlights from yesterday.

I think most of us would agree Mooy was incredible for us before he signed permanently. But in the latter half last season he was a very crucial player for us (ie, his set up for Trossard’s winning goal at Norwich).

He had effortless technique and poise, and really helped boss games for us. Did we take replacing him for granted I wonder.

Do we miss Mooy?

Just so long as he's here on loan and not a 'permanent' signing.

We are missing Lallana.

Is the right answer.

Begging the supplementary question:-

Should a Premier League team be so reliant on Adam Lallana?

I think so, just about, He's not quite past it yet.
He has the experience, leadership and nous. But he also plays in a postion that links midfield and attack and that is one of our biggest problem areas. You'd hope someone like Mac, Alzate or Moder would step up eventually, but atm I don't think it's a disgrace to rely on one player so obviously.
