Mooy went missing after he signed permanently, far more than just a little dip in form. I have to say that made me scratch my head and question his sincerity. Anyway, his signing for us convinced the Chinese that he was employable...so they made offer! All good in the end:)

No.

We are missing a striker who takes his chances (a younger Murray?), a reliable left back, and perhaps a more commanding keeper - in that order.

We are also missing a coach who can teach how to defend at set pieces.

We are not missing Aaron sodding Mooy.

We miss Colin Hawkins at the back, Tommy Fraser in midfield and the goalscoring prowess of Joe Gatting.

Mooy I considered was our best central midfielder but like so many, Potter played him out of position wide left

Something that occurred to me, watching the highlights from yesterday.

I think most of us would agree Mooy was incredible for us before he signed permanently. But in the latter half last season he was a very crucial player for us (ie, his set up for Trossard’s winning goal at Norwich).

He had effortless technique and poise, and really helped boss games for us. Did we take replacing him for granted I wonder.

Do we miss Mooy?

No, we missed Lallana and Lamptey.
