If ‘turning the Country around’ means rejoining the EU then ‘no’ not in this term or the next. Maybe there’ll be a conversation about it in 10 years time.
In the meantime, all Labour can do is to start repairing the damage caused by Brexit and rearrange the deckchairs on the Titantic of public debt. Under a Labour Government even after an inauspicious start, one can still hope the remaining life boats will be reserved for the lower deck and not for the landed gentry and billionaire CEOs.
I’m more concerned ( as a NATO member) of the UK getting into a direct confrontation with Russia before that or the irreversible and worsening impacts of CC than I am about a Labour Government or a Tory Government at the moment - neither of whom have much daylight between them when it comes to the most pressing issues facing us tbh.

Obviously. My point is that some people blame absolutely everything negative on Brexit while ignoring other factors (like potential worldwide fuel price rises) so whatever harm Labour might do some people will find them blameless.

They only had 34% for them at the election. It's not really turning against them when the majority were never for them. They're doing a good job of turning the politically ambivalent against themseves at the moment. Starmer and Reeves are less popular than Farage. How do they turn that around?

I think they've messed up royally so far in what they've gone after and how they've done it. Strange as they had a long time before the budget to get plans sorted and fully understand the impact.
WFP - I don't know anyone who doesn't agree that the well off don't need/deserve the payment but to have cut it off where they have is ludicrous.
Farmers - Similar, fully understand the desire to stop the investors using agricultural land as an inheritance tax avoidance scheme but they surely must have known the reaction it would get from the farmers.
The above would raise £1.5bn and £500m respectively but the way pensioners are being told to go to pensions credit and farmers to estate planning will surely eat into those numbers significantly. It seems rather foolish to go after 2 targets that the country in general holds in high regard for such a little return when you're looking to find 40bn. The huge corporates and dare I say the 1 in 5 that are economically inactive would I think have been a much better target.

Nobody can disappoint you quite as much as the Labour party. I think most of their problems at the moment are in not communicating their message efficiently (but then what chance have they got when right wing media are out for their blood and the rest are just looking for gotcha moments?), but they've also messed up with too many early and unnecessary own goals (Sue Grey, Cold Weather Payments etc).
I fear Labour won't turn things around, because:
a) the rot has gone too deep over the last 45 years, under all governments; industries sold-off (often overseas), public services contracted-out or stripped-to-the bone, daily newspapers concentrated in the hands of a few Right-wing billionaires, everything which was once 'civic' or 'social' now run on business or commercial lines, individualism superseding any semblance of community or shared responsibility, everything subordinated to the 'needs' of so-called wealth-creators and shareholders (and to hell with the interests of consumers and workers - or the future of the Planet), and the public fed an endless diet of celebrity gossip, fashion, tittle-tattle about the Royal Family, Reality TV, and soap operas, and young people never looking up from their Phones because they are transfixed they another semi-naked Influencer prancing on TikTok.
b) the British public is so fickle, and often hypocritical or unreasonable - they want improved public services, but resent paying higher taxes, and are increasingly rude (or even violent) towards those working on the front-line.
c) Too many rich and/or powerful sections of British society are lined-up against Labour - farmers, pensioners, the City, shareholders, big business, small businesses, the wealthy, most of the press, Nigel Farage (who will continue to masquerade as the friend of the ordinary working man and women), etc, who will constantly undermine anything and everything Labour does or tries to do, or will - like the farmers yesterday - claim that they are being persecuted by Labour (claims which will be faithfully echoed by the Tory tabloids and the Daily Telegraph).
I oscillate between utter despair, and no longer caring.

That's not even keeping pace with boat arrivals with 50k expected this year not including over stayers, and then there is the legal levels. So no I am not pleased.
Oh yes, of course - I forgot how good the last lot were. They managed to deport 4 to Rwanda didn't they - at an enormous cost.
Where are you getting your figures from? According to Government data there have been 33,562 so far this year. Pretty unlikely that 16,500 are suddenly going to arrive in December I would have thought?
