All of these boys have come from a different league. It takes a long time to settle into a new team, league and in some cases, country.
I think they will all come good in time with the provision being that are given decent game time and confidence and are of course played in their favoured position.

O’Reilly has been poor so far but will come good. Top player next season.

Minteh is being judged on his stupid transfer fee. He has done ok as a rough around the edges, developing player.

Gruda similar. With less output than Minteh.

Rutter is the closest to value for money. It is obvious he’s a special talent.

Wieffer - good and bad so far . Another one who will do better next season

Ferdi. A lot of money for a utility player.Too soon to tell If he reaches value.

The theme is the same - overpaying. That’s how we got so many deals over the line in such a short space of time.
Chuck in high expectations - partly encouraged by the club - and you have yourself a disappointing season.

Rutter - star of the signings
Minteh - early promise, seems to slowly improving
Ferdi - really like, but need to see more. Great at Liverpool.
Gruda - very one footed, probably needs a loan, but looked good vs Brentford, until he was worked out
O’Reilly - not seeing the promise others have seen. Out of all of them I thought he’d hit the ground running, but looks a long way away. Perhaps as @DJ NOBO says next season, but unimpressed.

I'm glad none of you lot are in charge or we'd have got rid of people like Mac Allister after half a season. Surely you know by now that it takes a season for people from outside the P/L to settle in? But no, people still keep writing people off based on their expert "opinions".

There are plenty of examples of players who come in and do well quickly. Pick any club and I’ll name you players currently playing who came in from around the world and tore it up from the off. Including some players we were strongly linked with.
Yes many players need time. Yes we have plenty of examples of players who needed time to bed in, but that isn’t a given.

Really like minteh , Rutter and weiffer. Ferdi also looks good.

Jury out on gruda and O'Riley .

No idea with Gomez, looked neat and tidy today. Little bit off the pace but not surprise there.
How do you base that opinion on Ferdi? Hep barely played and we're not sure his best position either.

Based on what we've seen so far only Minteh and Rutter look value for money. Admittedly, the injuries are a problem and it's way too early to start writing people off, but for all the others the verdict is out.
