Do I clap no ,does it ruin my experience of the game no ,and do I give a toss if some people do clap......its another big fat no from me .

That sums it up for me. In years gone by I travelled to all games because I wanted to nobody made me or thanked me but I enjoyed going. Perhaps the same happens now with other teams supporters.

What, no witty reply , spoken in danny dyerese ?? All you can manage is a tosser emoji ?? Tut Tut , made yourself look a bit of a tit again havent we ?

No, you're boring me now,if the highest level of insult you can offer is calling me a tit numerous times, well, if you're not going to put the effort in, I don't see why I should have to.

I think that anyone who pays to go to a match can do what they like (obnoxious behaviour apart) be it clapping away supporters, shining their torches, screaming for policemen, falling asleep, moaning about catering, trains etc. Who are these people who think that they can define how supporters should conduct themselves? Onanists, that's who!

No, I said you're not putting the effort in, keep up.
Anyway, having read posts by you, in all your various persona, I don't think we would ever agree on anything, at least, I hope I wouldn't agree with you, if I did, I really don't think I'd like myself very much

you didnt, you said this '' well, if you're not going to put the effort in, I don't see why I should have to. , meaning that you'd , er , previously put effort in, do keep up, and dont worry about not liking yourself very much, i doubt you'd be in a minority.

Getting very childish now so, I'm off for my supper, but before I go, re- read my last post. I said IF I ever agreed with your views, I wouldn't like myself, I don't agree with you, so, I'm okay in the self like department, thanks, you on the other hand, I can't see there would be any circumstances where I would seek out your company, or enjoy anytime spent in your presence

Each to their own, I suppose.

Actually I like to know how many they bought down

I have the mildest of curiosities when it comes to finding out about the away attendance, I couldn't care less if it was never mentioned again but to clap it is so tinpot. To be honest I can't make out if people are clapping the attendance in general or directing it at the away fans, I tell myself they are doing it in in general. I have no interest in how far they've come, what trials and tribulations they may have endured to get to the Amex or what a jolly good bunch of top whizzers they are I could not give a monkeys arse, feckin northern heathens.

let's face it, our fans just want to applaud, for example the announcement of away fan attendance, a substituted player leaving the field after a crap performance, subs warming up, the death of anyone remotely connected to the Albion/Brighton/Sussex, mascot travelling more than x miles, uncle Fred's 50th Amex visit, an opposing player who once had a trial for the Albion. I'm surprised the announcer of the train times last night didn't receive a standing ovation.

My take on it is that as a fan I will do anything (legal) I can to gain us an advantage and win - applauding the away fans is an own goal in my book.

I clap because I know it winds my mates up.
On some level I like to think it harks back to the Fans United era and is a small nod to the solidarity shown amongst football supporters. And if some of the away supporters miss the point, then so be it, plenty of others will appreciate the sentiment. Besides which I have infinitely more time for a Huddersfield fan, then a Man U fan from Worthing or Eastbourne.
But mainly because it winds my mates up.

Clap, don't clap - who cares ! Although saying we shouldn't because others don't is not the answer. Lets not aspire to being the same as Wednesday, Huddersfield or whoever
