I suspect that even as an adjective, it is usually capitalised. I haven't played for years, but I am sure Scrabble does not allow proper nouns or words that are capitalised so probably has just followed that list as a base . I know they took out some contentious words, but can't believe Latin was one.

On another note, at least you didn't waste a go on a wrong answer
Quite right, just checked and Latin is not permitted in Scrabble either.

I told you that I wasn’t very good at this game :lolol:

I suspect it is because Latin is a proper noun so isn't included. Otherwise you could have Paris or Capri or Barry or Suzie and such like as possible answers. Of course Gully is allowed!
The French Wordle annoyed me because it does allow proper nouns. A while ago I was stumped and then found out it was Louis.

A day or so ago I put in LATIN and was told it wasn't in the word list

Beat that :lolol:

I did that many months ago (I think it was mentioned on this very thread). It's a strange word not to include

Anyway, today's was a bit easier. Got it in 3 - av still 3.57, streak 306
