As there is no meaningful football for a while, I was thinking about possible ways to spice up the competition, and wondered if there was any mileage in a Wordle Cup.
They way I would envisage it is we have a straight knock out draw,with two players going Head to Head , and the winner going through to the next round, until we get to the final 2. In the event of a draw, we schedule a replay until we get a winner (like the good old days, no penalty shootout here).
