I just find him horrible with his qoutes that are just plain lies....

He has even said "I've never thought about [the England job]," he said. "[The FA] will make whatever decision they want to make and hopefully it will be right for the country. Tottenham have been fantastic.

Bollox you have not...

He must have thought it was Christmas yesterday

Just so much wrong about Rednapp as a person other qoutes that wind me up and make him sound such a bullshitter are

"I am completely and utterly disorganised. I write like a two-year-old and I can’t spell. I can’t work a computer, I don’t know what an email is, I have never sent a fax and I’ve never even sent a text message"

"I don’t look at my contracts, I don’t read one word, I sign at the bottom. Then my accountant rings up and says, 'Harry you’ve got a £500,000 bonus from the Champions League’"

Am I the only one who thinks we are being suckered into loving a loveable rogue by the press. I dont want a crook in charge of England despite his football knowledge etc etc. I know he was found not guilty, but they were never going to get a unanimous verdict.

Totally agree , i used to like him but not anymore , he is greedy and the i am so innocent look . Managers should not get any bonuses/pay for any transfers , they should only get paid for performance related issues , if you had managers getting paid for transfers , they would be selling all their best assets when the money is right and not considering about the fans or club as a whole . That 5% or 10% should go back into the club , and how Portsmouth could do with that now , not that i am too keen on them but to be greedy and demand the bonus is an utter disgrace . I don't know who will take the England job but in 4 months they have not got a chance to gel to the managers liking with so little group contact now . Should of kept Capello IMO.

I really don't care much about the national team, disillusioned with scandals, wags, and all the bullshit that follows. That said, I can't ee anyone better for the job other than Redknapp. Yes he is a bit of a twat but the players like him and he is a good man manager and thats what we need.

Is there ANYONE that likes him then? I certainly don't.

i do, bit of a charater and gets teams playing decent football with enough tactical nounce to defend properly. what exactly is there to dislike? does he eat babies or some heinous crime? sure he's a little economic with the truth sometimes, thats hardly a reason to dislike or hate him.

Its not a popularity contest.

If he can somehow get a tune out of that bunch of overpaid, underperforming tweeting twatting GOONS in the England squad then he'll do alright by me.

"I'm the least greedy person you'll ever meet."

Oh come on. There's being "economical with the truth" and there's just being an utter TOSSPOT.

For such a lucid poster on there I am quite taken aback by this comment. You could have Postman f***ing Pat or the Lord God Almighty in charge of those imbeciles. |They will not win anything for the next 50 years. Just think - all the managers, all the players that have worn the Lions with pride - England have not appeared at a major tournament final for 46 years.

Greece have, Denmark have - the list is endless. I just have to tell you that whoever manages this bunch of berks - much like the berks before them and the berks before them - England are unlikely to win a major tournament in our lifetime.

And slack jaw mcgraw redknapp wont change that.

Never have wanted him to be England manager. It's a real shame that at present, there is such a shortage of experienced English managers with a proven track record.

FWIW, Martin O'Neill would be my choice, but I know it won't happen.

Can't stand him.

He's as dodgy as a £9 note and I don't want him anywhere near the national team.

if he gets the job and does better than ONE backs to the wall, up against it performance in EURO2012 then I'll be surprised.

Please note, I did use the word IF (and yes, I grant you its an IF the size of Ayers Rock)

I'm not expecting England to WIN anything under Redknapp or anyone else, because we are serial chokers and always have been in my lifetime. But it wouldn't be too much to ask for us to arrive at a tournament and not STINK the whole f***ing PLACE out for once.

Redknapp does have an ability to get teams playing for him, players respond to him, and so I'm hopeful we can see some decent performances to restore a bit of pride. Will it be enough to WIN anything ? Almost certainly not. But England might at least be worth watching again.

There are people I dislike far more in this world than Harry Redknapp and however much you hate him or not, he is a good manager and gets the best out of players. I don't want a man who people "like" ( like Roy Hodgson for example) as the England manager, I want someone who can bring success, even if people think he is a ****.

I appreciate what you say and agree, but I find him replusive as a person and not someone fit to head our national team....
