He cultivates this 'good old Harry' image with the media, everybody's mate, but all he actually cares about is number 1. He's walked out of every club he's ever managed (twice at Pompey), usually when the money's run out. Doubtless he'll walk out on Spurs soon. Can't stand the bloke.

Can't stand Terry, Cole, Rooney, Barry, drug test dodger Ferdinand either - if Redknapp takes charge they can all do one as far as i'm concerned.

Can't stand him but the media just seem to adore him. He's had one decent season at Spurs being 3rd in the league after spending quite a bit of money in the past few season - Mourinho for England.

Please note, I did use the word IF (and yes, I grant you its an IF the size of Ayers Rock)

I'm not expecting England to WIN anything under Redknapp or anyone else, because we are serial chokers and always have been in my lifetime. But it wouldn't be too much to ask for us to arrive at a tournament and not STINK the whole f***ing PLACE out for once.

Redknapp does have an ability to get teams playing for him, players respond to him, and so I'm hopeful we can see some decent performances to restore a bit of pride. Will it be enough to WIN anything ? Almost certainly not. But England might at least be worth watching again.

Fair enough. Sad though isnt it that on £100k per week they need someone to get them up for playing for their country. In some tragic way it makes it even more desperate and pathtic. poor little lambs

How will Redknapp tell the FA he wants the job if he can't write , send an email , text or even fax??
Do England want an illiterate Manager with a facial tic ?

Englands failure on the world stage has gone on long before players were on £100k a week though.
