One final observation - this predictions lark and forget this game expect nothing from that etc is a complete non-starter.

If MM and the players adopted this attitude why did we win at West Ham / Sheffield United and beat Sunderland at home ?

Yeah must admit i feel we may get sucked into relagation, cov are playing really well of late, and finally got there rewards last sat.The only real flop of late is crewe, but the good news is that most of the teams below will have to win an extra 2 more games than us at least.

Our goal diffrence is crap,so thats a point loss grrrrrrrr:drink:

If we can sneak a win in the next two games we will certainly survive.

you just wait *if* we win on saturday everyone will be talking playoffs again.

I felt dreadful straight after our Cardiff game and it felt as though we were not going to win another game all season.

Then we won the next two.

Keep the Faith. We're going to be fine and end up at 17th (my prediction at the start of the season)

Well I think that it's certainly no time to be complacent. Naurally if we get Falmer we should be able to attract better players in the close season (I hope).

This season has been a proving-ground for the existing players, and perhaps a bolstering of the midfield might be in order. I think a very little 'tweaking' will really bring success to both the attack and defence - it occurs to mho that this area is of most import, although we do have some rather good players ready and available in Alexis, and Albert Jarrett.

Retaining Mark McGhee seems the more pressing issue than any other name on the roster !

I've just had a £50 wager on Crewe to be relegated at 6/1. A nice price me thinks which is likely to fall further if they lose again on Saturday.

I'm slightly worried that on paper the easier games are away, and our away form seems to have deserted us at the moment.

Whatever happens, it's a wide open pool of teams fighting to avoid the drop. Only Rotherham are definitely down, but at least there are several others who could fall before ourselves. Even Watford are struggling of late.

If we can draw at Plymouth, beat Reading at home, then get something at home to Leicester or away to Rotherham I think this should see us safe. I still think 52 or 53 points might be needed this year though.

I just wish one of those Southampton forwards that Plymouth and Stoke got on loan could have come to us. What's the odds Blackstock gets a goal on Saturday ?
