Anyone else getting slightly worried?

I'm certainly worried, but a couple of good results will be enough.

However, if we lose the next two games, we'll be right back in trouble IMO.

Well if the Argus is to be believed MM is getting concerned as well, or just being very professional, and looking for another striker in the Leon mould and another keeper if Roberts can't prove his fitness quickly.

Come on, you know you don't want a nice comfortable run in, the Albion don't do comfortable

Slightly more worried than I was a couple of weeks back, but still think we'll stay up. Two massive away games coming up at Plymouth and Coventry. If we can get results there, that will go a long way to ensuring our survival.

Forest may get themselves out of it, but I think Crewe are really in the proverbial do-do. I think I'm right in saying that they haven't actually won a single game since Ashton went.

Plymouth Away (1 point)
Wigan Athletic Home (0 points)
Reading Home (1 point) Coventry City Away (3 points)
Preston Away (1 point)
Leicester City Home (3 points)
Burnley Away (0 points)
West Ham Home (0 points)
Rotherham Away (1 point)
Ipswich Home (0 points)

So, I make that 10 points which should make us well safe on 54 points

Relax people, we need a couple of wins and a couple of draws in our last ten games to see us safe. The points will come in the following games:
Plymouth
Reading
Coventry
Leicester
Burnley
Rotherham
Ipswich

We will win at least two of these games and get draws in the rest. Easy. No problems. No panic.

And lets not forget that the teams below us have to play each other. Cardiff in particular have a to play a lot of the other 'contenders' and if theyt keep selling off their team morale is going to drop very quickly. Forest may climb out of trouble but cardiff, crewe and coventry are 'itching' to take their place...

crewe done the double over us this year with an agg score of 5-0 .....thats a worry:( :(

6-2 actually.

I do think that Crewe are on a slippery slope and could find themselves in trouble, Leicester could also find themselves distracted by their cup run.

I posted some weeks ago that I thought Gillingham would get out of trouble and that Forest could. I'm convinced that at least one of those two will save themselves ... and quite possibly both.

As others have pointed out, a win this Saturday should mean that we're almost there and a draw would be nice. Even a defeat is not the end of the world - although a defeat to Plymouth and Coventry would be worrying.

I suspect that beating Plymouth and Coventry and losing all the others might be enough to save us.

I am not overly worried at this stage as I believe we have shown that we are capable of beating teams when it matters (Sunderland, Leeds, Leicester, West Ham, Sheff Utd for example).

I think Leicester might struggle because of their cup exploits they are playing 8 games in April, which if they were to beat Blackburn could be nine. Thats a lot of games in 28 days.

I have said for a while forest would escape solid players and a good manager

the Gills been there before know how to escape

It plymouth who will be down there they are selling players still and cardiff could be the other if they have to stem the debts by selling players.

I think two wins and with the remainder reading no win in 10 i think good chance of a win

plymouth struggling and leaking goals

west ham come to us see the shit ground and show there inconsitency possible three points

Coventry, leicester, Rotherham and burnley all possible results

i dont think there is a worry we have come back well from defeats and just need to ignore everyone around else and play our own game

Don't underestimate Plymouth. It sounds like their game at Derby last week was close, and they won the two before that 3-0. I would be happy with a draw at the weekend.

Its funny how things change week on week. A couple of weeks ago everyone was very upbeat, but losing last week has made people a bit nervy. Just remember the manner in which we lost last week, two iffy penalties.

I think we put ourselves in a very good position and losing at Stoke with others winning + their games in hand has closed it, I would be more worried if we were the team above the relegation zone but we're not and there is a healthy batch of clubs there and in addition there are a couple within two points above us.

I agree that Crewe are on the slippery slope, there is always a team that falls from apparent safety at this time of the season. I thought it was Plymouth but now looks likely to be Crewe and it's harder to fight when you haven't been thinking you'd had to all season.

We only need a couple of good results and we will get them.

As long as we can grind out draws and the occasional victory we should be fine.

I keep dreaming that we've been relegated. ???

I'm a bit worried although with ten games left and needing 8 points at the most. it does look like a stroll in the park. I'll be shitting it though, if we loose the next three games on the bounce. I don't fancy our chances at beating Plymouth for some reason though. Then there's Wigan at home and Reading at home which will be tough.

Most of the Palace fans and Gillingham fans that I know think we'll stay up. Don't think they were taking the piss either.

Perm any two from nine Watford down for the last two places.

We need a win or two but we control our destiny.

We'll be OK.
