In UK for 10 days from Indonesia and meeting a friend in Hove for a few pints. Looking for a quiet pub with good real ale, preferably Harvey's. Any recommendations?
This brings back some memories. What’s the other pub on this road? One of them was quite wild I recall. The Farm Tavern.
That's where you'd find Brian Horton and many of his teammates within a very short time from the end of late '70s Goldstone evening matches finishing!Hove Place

Well worth seeking out The Hole in the Wall. Another one I like is the Brick on Preston Street.next to regency square so not palmeira but hole in the wall on queensbury mews! entirely craft-based pub, very well hidden but always lively, especially when it’s raining. have ended up trying many excellent beers there that i had no idea existed beforehand. another +1 for hove place too if you want somewhere a bit snazzier
