That’s because the ref could not control the gameThere were two yellow cards given by Taylor by the time 'Dunky' was sent off.
He didn't lose control. the players did.

Fair dos. That's not what whataboutery is....
It wasn't even close to whataboutery.
All the teams that time waste at the Amex nothing ever happens, soon as we do something yellow cards all over the place
I suspect he was feeling a bit sensitive when Dunky (as captain) remonstrated with the decision. He certainly took offence at whatever it was Dunky said
Bribing of officials/players by Asian gambling syndicates has been proven in cricket, snooker and tennis. Bribing of officials by clubs or third parties has been proven in Italian football, Spanish football and European club football competitions. I think you are naive to dismiss the possibility. So far in this thread we’ve had referees being bribed by far-east gamblers, a referee who favours northern clubs because his Aunty is a season ticket holder at Accrington Stanley, and a referee following a player closely in order to incite him to spit expletives. I personally prefer the notion of Hamas tunnellers under the pitch transmitting thought-waves through the grass.
Yes, I was right by that and couldn’t believe no action was taken. Wouldn’t that have been his second yellow if given? Here's one last season that still really, really annoys me. Spurs away. We're on top of Spurs and we get a corner.
To stop a quick start, Perisic deliberately kicks one of the spare balls onto the pitch to stop play progressing. Ref
stops the match so that said ball can be removed from the field.
No yellow card given. Nothing. Zero.
Why, when pretty much any game and sport can be betted on would criminal gangs choose to fix the most watched and scrutinised league in the world? Also the money involved in corrupting the Premier League would be so much higher. It makes no sense imo. There is no evidence in the public domain but the Tottenham v Brighton match last season was the point where I decided it cannot simply be incompetence There must be an outside influence at play and spot-fixingthe Asian betting markets is an obvious possibility. Its been done in snooker, cricket, tennis,, Italian football and Spanish football, all proven. Why would the biggest football betting market in the world be immune?
36 yellows and 5 reds since we got to the premiershyte. He does suffer from brain fade more than most. How many times has he been sent off for dissent in the last 10 years? Once or, maybe, twice? It's really not an issue with him.
Whataboutery?
Really?
Time to quit the argument if that's the best you've got.
How many cards were handed out before the Dunk red card?Fair dos.
I stand corrected
It was just a f***ing weak argument, with a really cynical analogy.
doubling down after wrongly claiming the ref had issued 2 yellows prior to giving the red card. Due to "the players having lost control"
Still a good time to bow out, wouldn't you say?
Biggest betting markets so they can place multiple very large bets without necessary triggering the algorithms that are used to try and identify strange betting patterns. There are millions of pounds placed on EPL matches. That's exactly why they are good targets. If you want to see how large the markets are take a look at Betfair and you can see how much is placed on each market in each match on that betting exchange. EPL dwarfs most other betting markets. Why, when pretty much any game and sport can be betted on would criminal gangs choose to fix the most watched and scrutinised league in the world? 2 domestic games. Straight red for abusive language. No need to apologise, simply read the other thread where this has been explained about 40 times if you have any further questionsHuge apologies, but bit busy to check multiple threads etc. Was it officially confirmed whether Dunk is suspended for one or two gamesn or is everyone including Lewis himself still randomly speculating
The problem would be replacing most of the refs.In the two games Spurs and Palace both winning outcomes would have either put us in or within spitting distance of the top four which simply wasn’t acceptable to how they want the PL to play out. Both had horrific obvious errors from VAR and the on field ref.
If we spark back to life in the new year when players come back from injury and we look like breaking the top four again it will be interesting to see how horrific the officiating will become.
A week off isn't anywhere near a punishment. Relegated back to the lower leagues for the rest of the season would be.
Also remember that the Saudi and Qatar leagues (in effect pif) employed the refs for their lucrative little sojourns and also own some of the clubs.Bribing of officials/players by Asian gambling syndicates has been proven in cricket, snooker and tennis. You can't place twenty ten thousand pound bets on an Albanian third division match. It would completely swamp all other betting on the match and no bookie would take the bets. If you place those bets on an EPL match there's a chance the bets would be lost in the noise. Why, when pretty much any game and sport can be betted on would criminal gangs choose to fix the most watched and scrutinised league in the world? What's more annoying is the Ref lost control of the game before that, he should have nipped it all in the bud and none of it would have happened.
