He's also been absolutely outstanding at times this season. On the other hand, I'm still waiting for an example of Knocky being outstanding in the Prem at any point in the last 2 years (apart from the goal at Palace).

Face it - he's a club legend and will stay that way by moving on. More of that Bournemouth shambles and the memory we have of him will be unfairly tarnished.

Off the top of my head , away at Man Utd , when he came on away at Southampton , home to Spurs when he scored and ran them ragged.
I don’t think he had fully recovered from personal issues either. Would still love to have him in our squad.

Red card you say like Stephens?
We still don’t have a wide player any where near what we had in knocky ,Trossard a long way behind

Really ? Worst case, Trossard has shown as much quality in the PL as Knockaert. Actually I think Trossard has been slightly better. Got us over the line at Arsenal for one...

Bravo!

It's only youngsters who arent allowed to be snowflakes which is why they must all be FORCED to watch 1917.

57 year old men who havent fought in any war themselves can be as drippy as they like when it comes to taking offence on other people's behalf.

No need fella is there ? I could say you are 50 living in a leafy street in Redhill with a supportive wife an kids and your life is all roses and your life has been a jolly ride with no hard times about as attached from reality as it is possible to be but I wouldn't as I don't know you well enough to do that.

Why the personal attack I have no idea as nothing was directed to you.

I have not been in a war at 57 as there has been no war for me to get involved in. Also the things posted on my facebook account with " friends " being linked to nsc for me has always been a no no for me. Pretty shit post all in all and from a jape about Knocky. Never mind. Regards " drippy "

He wasn't brilliant in any of those games. Decent enough but didn't change the game in any of them? Spurs was a last minute consolation goal, and he had missed a sitter for the equaliser long before then.

He’s also tried to repeat that goal against Palace about 47 times since, and it’s only come off once. Which shows it was basically a fluke.

He was great for us in the Championship, and supposedly we got rid of him for non-footballing reasons anyway, so it would be absolutely ridiculous to bring him back again. We’ve outgrown him, and the sooner we sell him, the better.

No need for what? For calling out your tedious hypocrisy? That's what Matt did, and he's spot on.

As for the rest, I don't care if you do. And you just did, so why are you saying you wouldn't? What is your point there anyway? ???

Sorry but if that’s how you wish to remember them then fair enough, I remember coming away from those 3 games thinking how great he was.

I am aware you posted it on Facebook, but your stroppiness is totally misplaced because that was only a cut and paste from your post on Harty's thread on NSC ffs, which is what I'm referring to.

If you want to talk about shitty posts, why not look at your own ranting drivel first eh?

Imo his best game in the last 2 years was at Wembley where he looked our only threat. Obviously I'd rather think of him as a world beater at this level, but he just wasn't IMO. In a nutshell, he didn't have a quick enough footballing brain. The very best defenders are good enough to manage him because he wasn't quick enough in thought at the point the pass was being delivered to him. That's why he ended up having to try and beat his man 3 times. It looks effective but at this level, the entire back 4 is in place to deal with a cross when it eventually comes.

Don't get me wrong though, I'll always love the guy.

Whereas ranting about kids not knowing they're born all the while you spend your entire life bleating about everything is just a superb way of conducting yourself.

Absolutely amazing that you can't see robust comment for what it is - you like to cry about it instead. Meanwhile, the kids these days eh? They just don't know how lucky they are apparently, and take offense at EVERYTHING.

Clown.
