People need to wake up and get a reality check here.The window is closing in eight days time and you will find 90% of football clubs desperate to bolster there ranks.Since Poyet has left this far to late he faces to much competition and that' means we have liitle chance.
We won't get anyone decent now and this will end in tears for a fact.
You can't say he hasn't had much time because he has had months to get a striker.

MAybe you need the reality check, if you think 'Gus has left this far too late'.
Do you think he's not been trying to get players in ?
Its not so much 'competition' as we are a League 1 club playing in a shitty stadium.
Your a tosser saying he hasnt had much time etc etc...........what the f*** do you think the man has been trying to do .
By the way..there are another 90 plus league clubs out there as well ..all trying to do the same thing !!

Oh please learn to read properly mate.I hate having debates with people who change posts to suit there needs.I said july because all players are back for pre season training by then.This is the best time to sign players when small clubs have had little revenue coming in as no football is being played.Clubs still need to balance the books during this period.

We have to wait for prem players because of that new 25 players rule, and waiting 'til the end of the window can sometimes reduce the amount a club is willing to accept for their player. It'd be nice to have everyone in that we want by now, but in Gus we trust

But players don't need to balance the books. They will wait until they can get the best deal. Why don't you wait until after next Tuesday and see. You never know, the club might pleasantly surprise you. Having said that, I don't think you actually want us to sign anyone as that would stop you from moaning on here all the time.

Acted much quicker then this.Any big money signings should have been made in july when there's very little competition.Now the season has started other clubs will see weaknesses in there own squad or picked up injuries will move just as quick before the window closes.
The last thing this club needs is competition while still playing at Withdean.

And why do you think that 'big money' signings would want to come to us atm .
