I voted out. We weren't winning games, I always maintained that was my reason for it. I stand by my reasoning at the time. Now we're winning games, I'm absolutely delighted to have been proved wrong.

Id always been Potter in but it did get to a point where after one result i voted out. Can't remember which now, but I think those voting out up until recently had a valid point: our form results wise for over a year was shocking. That's a long time in football.

For me, after briefly thinking GP out, the turning point again was the come back v wolves which made me think perhaps we do have the fight and desire, and then the performance at man City when things seemed to click in defence especially.

A few of us have kept the faith for a long time. At one point in December NSC was a lonely place for those of us who believed in Graham Potter. Match day threads were abusive. One guy stalked me accusing me of being ‘Swansman’ because there were so few Potter defenders (!)

Some of us always kept the faith. The long term trend improvements were always there in my eyes. Style of play, tactical finesse, eye for a player, good coaching. And a real swagger about the way we played football. Every game umpteen chances. Dominating possession. Incredible to see the way we transformed. We just weren’t getting the breaks.
Others just looked at short term results.

I think the Potter in crowd has been the majority since then.

To the Outters. Come on. Let’s stand down. You can admit you got it wrong... Tonight I extend a hand of friendship. We’re all fans of the club, let’s unite as a fan base again and move forward together.

You are literally obsessed with fans that have a different opinion to you. Is it all a massive cry for attention?

Fwiw Potter has improved his decision making dramatically. Played a settled side unless forced, has landed a transformed player in Ali Mac, has got the defence sorted and results have followed. Of course he’s going to get the support and backing of everyone if this continues and let’s all hope it does and we can carry on moving up the league.

I voted out as I thought he looked out of his depth but he’s turned it round very quickly and the big 6 now know to beat us they’ve got to be at the top of their game as they won’t beat us with under strength teams.

I have moved between in and fence for a while there. While I am now firmly in the in camp again it must be acknowledged that we are still in for some ups and downs for the remainder of the season.

I am glad we are back to being more level headed but let's not act like we've just burst into the Champions League. I am sure that GP will be back to keeping a lid on it and preparing for a tricky (and very different) game against Burnley at the weekend.

Its like Klopp said last time out when he was asked if he was disappointment with only getting a draw against Brighton, to paraphrase "are you joking, this is a very good side a point against them is a result"

I've been Potter in, just, throughout but why have things now changed? We know what has changed, pace of play, closing opposition down, not conceding, but why was this not being done for the last 2 months? October /November although we were losing /drawing we looked great just couldn't score. December January we were awful, conceding and not scoring. So why have things changed?
Anything to do with not changing the line up for 3 games in a row? Something that a lot of people were pointing to. Yes, I know tonight's was changed but that was forced, many other games were not forced.
Anyway, I'm glad we're all happy again. [emoji3]

The thing is I don't think things HAVE changed - apart from now getting the rub of the green slightly. The performances have nearly always been good, we just weren't getting the wins. There have been a handful of games we were actually second best, but couldn't get the wins. It was obvious they would come eventually if we kept being the better side in games.

Ryan out Sanchez in is probably a part, but all those draws earlier when we deserved to win weren't really due to Ryan mistakes.

Potter is the daddy and saddens me how dim a lot of people are,

The real pity is if we'd had above average luck we'd be around top 6 this season - THATS the level we've been at.

I have been on the fence, happy how we play football but thought he had lost the team but clearly he has not .

Something definitely happened which was not good and that seemed to have affected Maupay most and showed in how he was playing before Xmas , completely different player with the level of energy put in since xmas. His decision to effectively sack Ryan also a big part of that period and fair play for him for picking Sanchez.

Potter used the word togetherness in the interview, definitely was a team effort.

Not sure what 'landed a transformed player in Ali Mac' means?

Scouts did their job highlighting a young technically gifted player at Boca, Tony funded the not insignificant transfer fee, the club had to work the red tape and use diplomacy to get him over, we settled him in during a bizarrely difficult time, potter then eased him in to the squad and coached him into his current role. Or maybe he went into Mr benn's favourite shop and put on a magic football shirt? It really is time everyone at the club got more plaudits for the great work they have been doing.

I was happy to admit I was wrong after the Spurs game. Like many I was getting frustrated with our performances not getting the points they deserved.

Happy for Potter, the players and the Albion fans.

I was Potter out. I think I had justification to feel he should go. 5 wins in 12 months is awful and not looking at things as a knee-jerk reaction. Saying that, he has turned things around and as long as this continues wanting Potter to stay is just as Justified now as wanting him to go was.

I remember Poyet said in our Promotion season we had two results that made us really believe what Poyet was doing. That was the two 4-0s against Charlton and Peterborough. I am hoping these two results are what makes the team really believe and trust what Potter is doing, and now we will have a great 2021.
