Fresh food costs much more with higher waste and lower profits. What we currently have is more than good enough, and given the chaos in global food supply chains we should be bloody grateful there’s anything for sale IMO!

Steak and ale pies have gone down hill over the seasons unfortunately.

Piglet's steak and ale pies are still a thing of beauty, particularly if they are eaten fresh, and not left to stand for ages and become crusty and hard.

The tagine option is, I would think, fairly healthy. Generally rice, veg and a sauce I believe. Not great in terms of selection, but still tasty and the portion size was decent when I tried it
