I'm in WSU next week so will try and seek out said serving establishment. Just for the speed of service you understand.
It won't be a valid test with only 47 people up there.
You'll have to back when there's a big crowd.

Being positive, and backing up what The Merry Prankster has already said, the 1901 Profile Lounge had various issues when it first opened but Azure/Elior have listened and now addressed most of these. I do believe the catering company are aware of the issues elsewhere and I also believe that in time everything, as it was in the 1901, will be resolved. I must have been difficult to go from scratch to a 20k crowd with a demand for catering which has blown all expectations out of the water. Azure have been in this business for a long time but previously have only ever taken over contracts at long established grounds. I think they should be given more time.
It seems fine in WSU, a queue of maybe 15 people takes less than 10 minutes to get to the front of.
Although one problem that does need adressing is the correct labelling of food.
4 times I have asked for a pie (be it Chicken & Ham or Balti) and been given the wrong pie. Thrice the Steak pie and once the Veggie pie. Also, I got given a chicken burger one time, and I think I speak fairly clearly so that wasn't an issue.
I took the burger back, but I would've complained about the pies if they weren't all so nice.
Well done Piglet's Pantry.
f***ing sort it out Azure.
Most of the pie boxes don't even have a tick or a dot in the little boxes that are meant to show what's in there, too time consuming?
As they are bespoke boxes, could we not have a bit of colour coding for them, or even a tick box to be completed with a felt tip pen. Then we might know what we are getting and the staff might know what they are selling. Otherwise all the boxes look exactly the same to the staff and the customers. Hardly suprising than that some do not get the pie they asked for. Not that that's a huge problem as ALL the pies are SUPERB (and I have had a vegetarian one too)
NY Redbulls stadium any good? Out in NY in April, fancy trying to catch a game ?
they've had half a season... no excuses. it can't be that hard to get right, surely. it seems to be getting worse not better. they make the same mistakes over and over.
on a similar theme... the train travel arrangements are now EXCELLENT in my view, they have really got this working well after a shaky start.
I have no idea. I'm not in the industry of selling thousands of pies to people. But, from my experience Azure/Eliot are listening and have been making improvements in some parts of the ground. I do not believe they will just stop at some arbitrary point and not eventually resolve all the stadium.
Interesting that they started with the 1901 area first. I think the Liverpool game was the point at which the balance was tipped and the club hauled them in for a chewing.

I don't have problems when oredering food or drink at the Amex - I spoke to one of the Kiosk staff after half time a few matches ago, yes, a student. Her insight to it all was that yes, of course there were a lot of Students working at the stadium as no one else really wants a job that is 1 day a week or every other week at that. Sure an experienced, mature head would be great in every kiosk - but sadly... they just dont want that kind of pocket money!! at 35, I certainly don't want a Saturday job!!

I'm afraid that it is a problem if you are vegetarian and have been given the wrong pie. The remaining pies might be superb, but they can't be eaten by veggies! Glad you enjoyed the veggie pie - they are good!

All the major supermarkets are only offering part time hours to new recruits , mostly 8 , 10 or 12 contracted hours a week , additional hours are given as single rate overtime if there is any.But with stuff like Tescos you are guaranteed regular hours. If you're looking for part time work at the weekends, for me the Amex would be bottom of the list because it's not regular enough. I guess this would suit some people, but most would be looking for something like proper bar work, shelf stacking etc... where you will be needed on a weekly basis
As the box fetish lover, I thought you'd have noticed they already do! Burger / Chicken Pie / Beef Pie / Special I think
