Am i wrong for wanting England to lose?

I think the general consensus as well is that he was wrong to get rid of Beckham
I read an interview with Pini Zahavi today and Zahavi told that Ericson gave Beckham too much respect and he called him for every match even when Beckham wasn't in a good shape. Zahavi said that this step made the other players to be frustrated and it caused them to jealous at Beckham.

Not from me, Beckham has been shite in 3 tournaments on the trot. OK he scored a great goal against Greece to put us through but he is a spent force with absolutely no pace and well over the hill at the top level. Nice hair though

One thing that McClaren has got right imo.

Do you live in Tel Aviv?

Looking forward to the trip and a few different beers!

I live in Ramat Gan, the city that the match will take place in. Ramat Gan is a city that touched Tel Aviv. In 30 seconds of driving I can get to Tel Aviv.

Funny, there are streets in Ramat Gan that one side of the steet belongs to Ramat Gan and the other side belongs to another city - Givatayim. In Ramat Gan there is a street in the name of Jabutinsky that goes through 4 cities: Petach Tikva, Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan and Tel Aviv.

BTW, there are couple of good shawarma/kebab places (in England you say Kebeb windows?) in Ramat Gan, one of them is Shemesh Shawarma at 85 Jabutinsky st. There is another branch of Shemesh in Ramat Gan and these pictures below are from the 2nd branch at 9 Tubal/119 Bialik st (the Bursa area - where the prostitutes are)

Jim McCarthy from Brighton is telling to Yediot Achronot today that: "We also have a beach but this is the riviera. What a lovely place. Tel Aviv is my place. You know, once we had in Brighton 2 players from Israel that didn't do so much well, I forgot their names, but I know that in your national team there are 3 that play at our league. But they also won't help you, England will win. A small 1-0 will do."

I don't really want us to lose but will lose no sleep if we do. Apart from anything else, I simply can't get excited about the Euros in the same way as I can about the World Cup. If we have to fail in qualifying for a major tournament, please please please let it be this one and not the first ever WC in Africa.

One thing though - if we fail to qualify, don't think for a minute that the RUDDY FACED PRICK will be out of a job. He won't. Not until he's totally f***ed up 2010 World Cup qualification.

See I'm currently not at all excited about the 2010 world cup. As far as I'm concerned if it was too hot in Germany how are we gonna cope in Africa?

Much more confident in success at the Euros!

Although I feel that it makes me a very very bad person indeed i cannot help but feel that I want England to lose in Israel.

My reasoning is that should we lose and further f*** up our chances of qualifying for Euro 2008 then it can only hasten the departure of McClaren - and i can only think that this would be a good thing. The sooner he goes the better.

Am i a bad person for thinking like this?

yes thats a f***ing stupid thing to want.. lets quilify than lets get O'Neil in ..

It might help that it will be their winter as they are in the southern hemisphere.

The heat in Germany was just an excuse - it didn't seem to affect many of the other teams and the fans coped okay - we just drank more beer!!!!

As for tomorrows game even though I am spending a fortune travelling out on a day trip (leaving at 4AM tomorrow and returning at 6AM on Sunday) a part of me wants us to lose just to get rid of the imbecile in charge.
