Am I the only person on this planet who hates Leona?

I admit she has a good voice, although it's not to my taste. However, I would have expected a better song than the boring, monotonous "Bleeding Love". How it's got to nimber 1 I fail to understand. I really dislike it to the extent that I turn the sound down when it's played. I saw her live at the X Factor concert in Brighton last year and must admit I didn't enjoy her performance. I certainly wouldn't buy her CD.

as for being manufactured, before XFactor, she won loads of singing competitions but Xfactor gave her the big break as it where.

I remember somewhere one celeb saying that she was a judge on a singing competition that Leona won when she was 14.

personally I am not sure the world needs another Maria carey/Jlo/Celine Dion type of singer, but I am old aso what do I know!

I think that the people who slate her do so because it is fashionable amongst the small minded. To say that she has no talent is ridiculous. It may not be to everyones taste but to slag it off because you don't personally like it is a bit petty.

Nah, people who slate her (and her pals such as Mariah Carey) do so because she induces vomiting whenever she sings a note.

The hype surrounding her does something similar.
