The Laughing Bluebird said:The biggest tarantula on record was a female Goliath Bird-Eater who had a leg-span of just over 18". She was born and raised in a really exotic tropical location - Glasgow!
Race said:a spider over a foot long that actually eats little dickie birds? i thought they ate flies ffs?
The Laughing Bluebird said:Goliath Bird-Eaters usually only grow to a maximum of around 13" or 14", but the Glasgow-bred specimen was a bit of a monster.
