Our defending in the first half was SHIT, infact we were shit all over the pitch!

Apart from Cox I dont think there was one Albion player in the first half who could say they played well, Murray and Forster got caugh offside nearly every time they went forward, I not sure who was meant to be playing on the left wing but baisically we didnt have any cover for McNulty who himself didnt exactly live up to his billing! El-Abd didnt do too badly and was nearly in the same bracket as Cox but played his part in the shambles for the first goal, Elphick didnt really know what he was supposed to be doing, Hoyte really hasnt impressed me while he has been here and Bennett wasnt his usual self.

LUCKILY Glen fancies a move next month and wanted to put himself in the shop window otherwise we would have lost 2-1 and to be frank, after that first half I would have been pleased it was only 2!!!!

Well done to the 3 coaches at half time who quite deservedly read them the riot act and the players seemed to pull their fingers out and it ws like having 11 diffrent players!

Well done to the players aswell for turning it around

To all those who keep saying Glenn doesnt want to be here I would suggest that he made a fairly good effort at proving otherwise and in fact got booked for celebrating with the fans.

To be fair, even though we had a great win today, most of us aren't getting carried away! There have been too many false dawns recently.

Hopefully we will get a few more victories in January but we have to get over the mental block that is Withdean!

Lay off McNulty, he's bedding back in again after a LONG time out. Show some respect, the man is a genius of a footballer and he's going to be a CLASS player for us when he's had about a month or so of first team football. Patience, mr Jenkins.

I wasnt fishing, you even saud yourself that we were "f***ing shit"

Yes, just seemed a bit of a negative thread given we won 5-2 - can only assume you were trying to ruffle a few feathers. Not sure what the point in that is to be honest.

You make some good points though. McNulty didnt do anything really (again).

Not sure what to make of Murray really, guess we'll know more on Jan 31st..

When asked in November about being on the list his answer was he wasnt aware that there was one in November so he was happy to stay and you can interpret that how you wish.

Of course. Just has to do it quickly, because we cannot allow bedding in to carry a player. Hopefully we'll sign a decent left midfielder so McNulty can slot back in and left back.

he's right though isn't he.
we were dreadful and we would get beat by any team
however if we play like we did second half, we will beat most teams.

I think we need some perspective - not only keeping our feet on the ground after beating Wycombe, but in judging our defensive lapses. OK, we all know our defending is shocking at times, but having watched the Football League programme on Boxing Day and last night, there really is some dreadful defending around. Even in the Championship there were loads of howlers. What we need more than anything else in the back four is AN ORGANISER - A Steve Foster, or even Guy Butters.

Again, I will ask, did you go yesterday?

McNulty is talented, but he is struggling at the moment and he is struggling for stamina, he looked dead on his feet after about 65 minutes. That could well be a side affect of only having one kidney.
