Just a small selection.

Saw so many big 6 plastics on Twitter all night claiming they'd easily pick him up for anywhere between £20m and £40m. Not a chance we sell him for anything that low.

We’re gonna make some serious £ on the boy that’s for sure. Going to be a top club bidding war which should mean WELL over £50m coming our way.

Yeah no problem.

Baring in mind that Thomas Partey is older, less prem experienced and worse than Bissouma and went for £45m, they'll be needing to stump up fees and then some.

Also on a 5 year deal running to 2023? That ain't gonna be cheap either.

I love how he draws 3 players in, then plays a perfect pass away from danger - at least 5 times a game. Whenever I look at transfer gossip on the internet it is just a sea of Bissouma, Lampty and White guff as if we're some street side allotment that clubs can come and help themselves to! I think my favourite thing of actually being in and paying attention to the Premier League is watching Arsenal fans moping around as if they're the hard done by British Barcelona. It helps that I live in North London. I constantly hear their fans either crying about their awful plight or bigging themselves up as if they can have whoever they want to solve their inadequacies. I just smile and say the day I met my wife we went 12 points adrift of the 4th division and every moment in the Premier is fantasy football for me. Funnily West Ham fans, whilst not as bad at delusions of grandeur, also moan as if they're about to lose their home and disappear from the 4th tier.

He is just outstanding, probably the best player we’ve ever had along with Lawrenson. He’s also the best in the PL in his position.

All of the top 4 should be going all out for him, he would massively improve all of them. He is at the level of the top 4 in Europe - City, Liverpool, PSG and Bayern.

Going to stick my neck out here and go against the grain... I think Bissouma has huge potential and great player, but for me he isn't the finished product and not sure if he ever will be. Can be very clumsy and frustrating at times and if anyone is prepared to pay 50 mil I would be driving him there myself! I personally don't think he is worth half of that (and don't mean that in a derogatory way)...

he will be first out of the door in the summer and i hope we dont sell him on the cheap. 50m sounds fair.

It will be a shame to lose him but selling him sends a great message, to talented young transfer targets, that Brighton is a good destination for their career.

You won't get stuck here, you will get games, you will get noticed, and you will be able to make that big money move of your dreams.

Gradually we become the next Leicester or Dortmund. These young players raise us up. Eventually, ideally, we become a club that they want to stay at. The destination, not the stepping stone.

All in good time...

As it stands, Biss is still a Brighton player and I've heard nothing recently to suggest that he's going to move. He looks happy and had a good old dance with the fans serenading him after the Watford game.

So it really gets on my wick when you get posts like this from wannabe ITKs and so called journalists.

Fair enough. This expert is reporting that there's yet more (not more you appreciate, but "yet more") speculation that two specific teams are in for Bissouma.

So I asked him what the sources were and where was this "yet more" speculation he was reporting. Or for that matter, the original speculation he was reporting. What did he say? He deleted the tweet. In other words it was a patently made up bit fo news from someone purporting to be a BHA specialist. Click bait? attention seeking? Boosting his ITK credentials? Very, very iritating.

I'll bet he posts on here. I don't care. Should know better than to exploit fellow Albion fans like that. Be warned - this guy simply makes things up. We knew that before, and now we have yet more evidence of it.

He definitely makes things up.

35 yard screamer? Once in every 200 attempts perhaps. The only part of his game which isn't top class.
