It would be interesting to see who has made the most Withdean appearances for the Albion.

How have you not got Whing in the munter team :lolol:

You and Mendoza are of course correct, how did I miss him off?? In he goes, probably instead of O'Callaghan as I can't justify leaving out Hinsh, Mayo or Darren Carr.

And sorry Brett, but Revell has a set of teeth that Kauto Star would be embarrassed to call his own: he should be in the Munters XI not the Handsome one. I would have GLENN in there of course.

In person Adam El-Abd is actually a decent looking bloke. Is there room for him in the handsome XI?

No, definitely not. I have seen him in person as well as on the pitch and he is to handsome what I am to high-wire trapeze walking.

I might put Ashley Barnes in the handsome one though, just checking the programme for mugshots. Not quite up there with Gordon or Glenn though

Your Withdean XI- the best team from 1999-2011

Well, here's my first thoughts - probably full of omissions, but you've got to start somewhere. I think a player has to have played at least 3 months for the club to qualify.

Kuipers

Calderon - Cullip(C) - McShane - Mayo

Bennett - Sidwell - Crofts - Hammond

Zamora - Forster

If this tells any story at all, it's that we've always lost our talented players in midfield (Carpenter aside - fingers crossed re Bennett).

I now leave it for you all to disagree

Lichfield, United Kingdom
GK - Roberts
RB - Calde
LB - Watson (I know he played RB most of the time, but I can't leave Calde out, and need Watson in there for his amazing left foot which set up so many of Zamora's goals)
CB - Cullip (C)
CB - Morgan
RW - Bennett
CM - Sidwell
CM - Hammond
LW - Lua Lua
CF - Zamora
CF - Murray

SB - Kuipers
SB - Knight
SB - Forster
SB - McShane
SB - Crofts
SB - Dicker
SB - Brooker

On saying that - the likes of Greer, Ankergren, Noone, Bridcutt all have the potential to be in that team when they have played more games for us - and El Abd on current form would be in it, but given that early on in his career he wasnt great - if this spans his career to date I can't put him in.

Almost did exactly the same thing - choice of Mayo was my only choice of heart over head

The two absolute unanimous choices seem to be Calderon and Zamora unsurprisingly. Our 2 best players in the last 15 years? Would they both make an all time Albion 11?
