Amongst other things, he's a professional gambler, and professional gamblers don't take big risks.

Well they do .... hence the word gambler

They take risks, but not big risks. They do the home work and know what they are doing. By big risks, I meant the equivalent of staking your life's savings on a 100/1 outsider.

.

.......International Team Ranked 21-30, must have appeared in 60% of matches; and
International Team Tanked 31-50, must have appeared in 75% of matches.

The Rankings above are based on the official FIFA World Rankings.

If a player fails to meet the above FA requirements for automatic endorsement, the football club can appeal under the FA appeals process to the Exceptions Panel........

It looks like they will have to appeal to the Exceptions Panel. South Africa are currently 71st in World rankings. What are the chances of them jumping 21 places?

It will go to the exceptions panel, but given that he is a regular player in the Champions League and for the current leading club in Belgium there is a fairly good chance he will be approved. There is a points based system that someone on here went through in detail for him before - basically as long as he keeps playing regularly for Brugge and for South Africa, he should qualify.

We went through the same process for Izquierdo, who hadn’t played enough games for Colombia to qualify automatically.

Mansfield Woodhouse, actually.
Imagine the replies if full International Argie Jocko signed for Leicester, for say £30m, (all very conservative) and in his first press conference said 'well I nearly signed for Brighton, a couple of seasons ago for a small fee, but they backed out because of the work permit'.

The melts on here would have a field day and it's hard to imagine there being absolutely no crossover.

If the team were relegated, last season, it would have had 2 or 3 very profitable assets within the playing staff that could have been sold with no detriment to the team.

I cannot discuss with you the further ramifications of something that didn't happen.

You absolute wimp!
I only went back a couple of pages to find these speculative posts from Stat Brother, but when you make one you let him get away with that!

Allegedly this is 1 of 3 transfers being investigated in Argentina for fraud by the selling club.

Albion have DONE NOTHING WRONG thankfully.

Potentially great news.......Alex and Percy both coming back would be a huge boost to the squad.

He’ll be back with us for pre-season. Dynamic, attacking, central mid. Exciting times.

Might be a slight delay in him coming to pre season training as it is the copa America next summer and if involved likely to stretch into mid-July
