allow it because we make huge amounts out of it,does this make it right?

I'm fully aware this thread is a wind up but alot of people seem to believe the government make money from tobaco products.

This is not true, the government makes £10million a year from tobaco tax but spends £13million treating and caring for people with smoking related illnesses, and many many millions more on clearing up fag butts etc

Not really a wind up can't stand the beer and fags part of the football day, we will have to stop treating the fat drunken smoking spineless masses! Or put the price up so they can self finance their own health care.:smokin:

Perhaps we can build another stadium for the evangelists who like football. Perhaps Return of the rev you can shut pubs down, turn cafes into gyms, change menus in restaurants and also confiscate everyone's car.

Jesus H Christ - i work 80 hours a week, pay my taxes and have never had a problem with the law (other than one night after a chirstmas do).

Nanny state - you sound as if you want to run a society based on your beliefs and views. Thank christ thats not the case. I f***ing love a good drink, a reflective cheroot when the need takes me and you, the namby pamby whiny whingers or the f***ing god botherers wont stop me.

perhaps if you were not in need of a good drink and the other things not really needed you might not have to work 80hours a week, thus giving another person the chance to job share 40hrs each would be a good spilt and then you might have more time for a better quality life, step back and take a look my friend:moo:

A better quality life would not be enhanced by knowing you, methinks!

So in summary then Rev, you are in fully in favour of removing the simple but important aspect of CHOICE from all adult paying customers at the Amex, because we can't be trusted not to go there and get completely and utterly wankered before, during or after a game. Nice one.

Tell you what, you have your cup of tea, skinny latte, plastic bottle of Tizer or whatever and leave the rest of us to live our lives eh. If you see anyone a bit tipsy, I'm sure you can take great delight in complaining to the relevant authorities and have them removed / banned. It'll probably be the highlight of your afternoon.

And what is it with you and that frigging COW icon ?

If i didnt smoke or drink i might have a few more quid in my pocket, but overall im pretty happy with my lot.

Sounds to me that your pretty pissed off with your lot, so maybe have a ciggy and a pint and just chill.

Planet earth calling the rev. I work 80 hours a week because we are in a recession and having to do more than one persons job. I dont have the luxury of working 5 mins up the road so have to travel. I enjoy relaxing in my house in the way that i chose. A good drink is a lovely glass of wine - not a 30 pint beder with a bunch of chavs in a Wetherspoons somewhere.

The irony of your post - is that if i had to socialise with you I would feel the need to drink triple the amount simply to dull the annoying posturing and whining . You do not approve of my habits - i do not approve of your approach to life.

it's just as well that I'd rather eat a sick cows shit than spend an hour in your company. so we are both happy then arent we?

Try living closer to work, this would cut down the harm you do to the enviroment whilst giving you more time at home, then the need to drink yourself into oblivion might start to wain,DON'T LOOK FOR THINGS TO BLAME LOOK FOR WAYS TO IMPROVE:D

West Brom's away end is gated around the outside so you can have a drink/fag/food there, rather than blocking up the concourse. Good idea imo.
Lets hope we get that and its also done at reading aswel:)

Does no harm letting fans out for a ciggy at half time:)
