The Vanity Project by The Vanity Project. Steven Page of Bare Naked Ladies & Stephen Tin Tin Duffy with a bright original one off album. Every track a winner bar one which I hate.

THAT SUMMER, a compilation in yellow vinyl with the likes of Mink Deville, Ian Dury, Ramones, a really good compilation. 1976 i think without looking.

Don't know why but been listening today to Thre Ramones, Rocket To Russia.

Haven't listed to it for years.

That is a gem of an album. I often listen to It's Alive when I run. Has to be one of the best live albums released.

Blimey, not listened to that since I was at college, think I will go and have a re-listen to it.

Exactly! Absolutely love it again, must have gone unplayed for well over a decade for me...

...all the love gone bad, turned my world to black, tattooed all I see, all that I am, all that I'll be...

Gosh that takes me back - bought it from the record shop in Crowborough High Street I think, vinyl album and I believe that it is a soundtrack to the film of the same name (just Wiki'd it, film released in August '79 and the debut of Ray Winstone) - it was marked down in a sale! It wasn't the yellow vinyl version and I have no idea what happened to it but it contains absolute classics from that era.

Jeez, when you look at that listing it does look mighty impressive.

That's certainly a tasty compilation: chuck in a few other classics of that era like Shot by both sides - Magazine, Ever fallen in love - Buzzcocks, Something better change - The Stranglers and Suspect Device - Stiff Little Fingers and it would be damn near perfect.
