New Loyle Carner album dropped today. Liked all 3 singles off it and there’s some good features on there including Tom Misch. About to give it a listen, hope it’s as good as Yesterday’s Gone. He’s also recently had a feature on an Ezra Collective track which is pretty damn special too.

This album is incredible. 10/10

Sharon Van Etten and Julia Jacklin are probably my favourites. Of the others, and those that I know, Big Thief, Comet is Coming and W H Lung are all worth checking out.

Cheers, will check them out. Any person who is into Sharon V E is worth heeding :)

Hot Chip have just released another cracker.

Their best since One Life Stand for me.

I’m loving it, the perfect accompaniment to the sunny weather as well.

I love the opening track and Hungary Child is another stand out for me.

Whilst I’m not a fan of Alexandra Palace I’m tempted to get up there for their late October gig.

I’ll add Spell as another stand out track.

I had a similar dilemma with their proper tour. Like you I saw them in the spring in a small venue. They also announced a much bigger Berlin date in December and we originally decided to pass as 1) it’s a big venue 2) it cannot be better than the small spring show. Anyway, I’ve now cracked a bought a ticket.

The third offering from the brilliant Rhye is more stripped down and light, including a gem with chum Ólafur Arnalds.

Spirit is beautiful.

Been there 3 times now and never enjoyed the acoustics.

Saw Interpol there years ago and the bass was nowhere to be heard. If you know Interpol then you'll know the bass is fairly vital to their sound...

I saw Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem there about 8 years ago. I had a great time but it was big.
