This just appeared today, another EP to look forward to.
In that case check out F Ingers - Awkwardly Blissing Out on the same label which also involves Dal Forno.
Heard 4 or so tracks so far from this, promises to be one of the albums of the year for me. Out 29/9.
That is simply brilliant. Thanks. If you've got any other suggestions then I'll be eternally grateful. Also, anything in a similar vein to artists like Anika on Geoff Barrow's Invada Records.
Likewise and I enjoy your mixes a lot. Sorry, I should leave more feedback. I have a strange relationship with Shackleton. Some of his music, I find hypnotic and impossible to put down. Other times I find him unlistenable. My fave Shackleton track is the Ricardo Villalobos remix of 'Blood On My Hands' and clocks in at 19 minutes!
Some new tracks released in the last few days.
St Vincent - 'Pills'. Guest appearances from Jenny Lewis and St Vincent's ex Cara Delevingne. (Pop trivia - Cara went to school with Marika Hackman whose new album is surely one of the stand-outs of 2017).I'm not sure about this one, the jury's still YeT YeT out on this song.

Belle and Sebastian have rolled back the years with this retro-sounding tune. It's quite lovely

And First Aid Kit 'It's A Shame' is my current earworm.

The Marika Hackman album is in danger of getting played to death in the pub. I note that she's playing at the Haunt next month and it's PEANUTS (well,£11).
I'm strongly tempted to go but fear I may be far too old.
My 15 year old son is going.
Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, 'The Kid' is possibly my favour album since 'Dear Science'
Stunning
Keep meaning to listen to this. I loved her last one.
It's a right treat.
Richard Dawson and Broken Social Scene are competing for my podium.
First couple of listens to the St. Vincent album and I'm impressed. All sorts of influence in there - modern pop music, Bowie, Prince and those jazz licks she did so well on the last LP. I have a feeling like all her stuff its going to be a major grower.
