It was a bit hard to tell sometimes from the angle of the coverage but he did seem to call a lot! I wondered if he was just poor, or whether he was just not quick enough so was always behind and just assumed if he close we were off sometimes.

@seagullwedgee how many Brighton fans do you think there were?

I reckon there was about 30-40 with visible colours, was a large group in the stand.

At least one in a yellow jacket behind the goal 😉

I was literally 1 yard out of shot to the right of the yellow jacket man as you look!
yep I would say 30 to 40. The homophobic under the breath muttering was pretty extreme, even though I never said a single word all game, I attended on my own, I was called a nonce, a bender, a bummer and a paedo, which each time caused the locals within earshot to titter with laughter. Pretty shocking, but water off a ducks.

Shame there weren't more, but guess it might require transport to be provided. Newcastle took 1000 fans to their match though it helps with the money behind them now!

Ah yes I noticed you (I am yellow jacket man btw). Yeah we got some funny comments which I was surprised considering it’s the women’s game which is very focused on LGBT+ equality. Shame really as it was a good day for the club.

Women's FA Cup 5th Round Draw

1 London City Lionesses v Liverpool
2 Arsenal v Manchester City
3 Leicester City v Birmingham City
4 Wolverhampton Wanderers v Brighton & Hove Albion
5
Tottenham Hotspur v Charlton Athletic
6 Nottingham Forest v Everton
7 Southampton FC Women v Manchester United
8 Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Having played a Tier 5 side in Luton, a very good draw for the Albion Women at a Tier 3 side.

With Arsenal and Manchester City being drawn together, a top 3 WSL side will be eliminated before the QF stage.

A cold one over at the broadfield today, the womens stadium in Brighton can't come soon enough. Zero wind protection there.🥶🥶
Good to get the win with a last minute goal. The game didn't really get going until the last 20. Thought it was a very lacklustre performance today. We didn't really seem to get going . Terland was clincle, Robinson took her goal well, but she seems to have lost confidence to take her Full back on.
We need to be on it from the off next week.

I took DFP Jr along today, thought we were fairly measured but quite a bit of miscommunication and misplaced final balls etc. Thought overall the win was deserved. Losada and Zigiotti were very tidy in the middle.

It wasn’t too bad for wind in the south terrace, but then it got you it was absolutely biting

Terland always pulls something out the bag. 9 goals in 11 matches, 3rd place in golden boot race. Hope we don’t lose her because she is exceptional

I took my niece again. A great much needed win. Sorry but thought game was a very poor standard. Bristol all over us 2nd half and certainly did not deserve to lose. Once they equalised bristol looked like getting the winner so would have been pleased with a point.
To be fair the wind made it very difficult.
For those regular followers Robinson is in England squad. Why is she subbed so often.
Anybody know the attendance

I wasn't there due to a family party, but was following best I could and was very relieved that we got the win. Thank goodness for Terland this season! Hope we can hang onto her.

Robinson rarely plays 90 mins these days, and doesn't look as speedy on the pitch. My feeling is that shes carrying a knock/slight injury which they are managing, but maybe I'm just being generous and its just shes lost a bit of confidence.

We are in the East with the wavy rubber roof. We probably should have hit the south for cover! Thought the same about Terland, I wonder how long she's contracted to us.
Re Robinson, she's not been at it this season. She had the doing of the fullbacks last year, but seems to have lost the speeds. A lingering long covid or something alike?
Was the attendance that or does it include season ticket non shows? Our row was showing sold out and there were 7 if us in total🙁

Thought it showed a lot of resilience at times today, thought Bremer was fantastic today. Bit of a ding dong game, but important to get the win, certainly seem to be marginally improving every game.

First of a BUMPER week of Brighton & Hove Albion action for me. Good to start it off with a win.

Best I've seen her play with positioning and ball at feet, very very good. The final distribution (crossing) was the only thing letting her down.

That’s a hectic schedule, to say the least?

Never mind, I read that as the women’s schedule…

Yeah I noted the way some of the flag were blowing in the east stand, looked absolutely awful. Must be one of the worst covered stands around. Glorified tent, very little protection from the elements and blinding sunshine for some kickoffs.
