Stockdale 9 - two 1-1 saves dealt pretty well with the long throws and a great save in opening minutes
Bruno 8 attacked and defended very and some silky skills
Greer 6.5 distribution ok. Given tough time in the air but coped ok
Uwe 7 also given tough time in the air but coped well and put himself on the line
Bong 6.5 ok both attacking and defensively nothing more than that
Murphy 7 bright debut, great feet. Could be a real asset
Stephens 7 solid enough
Kayal 7.5 bright and a lot of good things start with him
Lualua 8 looks confident and another goal.
Baldock 6.5 worked hard no real opportunities set up goal
Hamed 6.5 also worked hard. No great service

Stockdale 8.5 -- two stunning saves on 1-on-1s. Solid beyond that, and calm down. Marked down 0.5 for a few distributions

Agreed. hunnemeier looks to be a great find, and I love Hemed's attitude. Blackburn were horrible. We're looking good.

Stockers - 8 - very capable goalie today. Lighter under foot and not making any rash decisions. Moved quickly to snuff out threats and stuck out a long arm when necessary. Good show.
Bruno - 8 - he's a sort of uncoked Ronnie O'Sullivan with a football, his right boot the most delicate and flairified cue. My favourite player/magician. I remember from today 3 leaping for a long ball and Bruno emerging with the ball glued to his toe having watched and waited perfectly for it to fly over those who thoughtlessly flew.
Greer - 7 - a couple of good attacking manoeuvres and bursts did him well. Troubled by a team of flinging oafs, but a clean sheet is all that can be asked for.
Hunemaier - 7 - I 7 him for his neat passing. Got done a little easier a time or two and wants to give up every header being a seeming diving one, but looks like a good hero at the back with decent technique.
Bong - 6 - not a great performance by Bong, but no horrendous blunders so was ok.
Kayal - 6 - motored around and had more of a presence toward the end of the game, but not his best show.
Stephens - 7 - the better of the two midfielders, I thought. Getting stuck in and a couple of good passes. Would have liked him to get the shot in the first half on target.
LuaLua - 8 - an 8 for the goal and to keep going in a game not full of thrills.
Murphy - 7 - couple of nice squirmy twisty dashes. Like the idea of more of that. Still needs to learn what we are.
Hemed - 7 - a very good second half where I finally got to see his good touch and to spring off a burly defender to get space. Shame he couldn't get one on target.
Baldock - 6 - worked hard, but swing at the ball wildly and lost control too often. Still not sure about him as one of the starting front 2 when we finish our purchases.

Kayal 8 Holds everything together in the middle and also gets forward when he can. Interchanges with Stephens and understanding good between them.
Murphy 7 Looks good and will get better after a few games.
Baldock 6 Thought he was bit quiet, but put in a decent shift.
Hemed 7 I thought he had a good game. Nearly scored with a neat flick that the goalkeeper clawed away.
