Molumby and Ward looked ok. Akindayini tried hard. Beyond that not a lot.

Hopefully harper will look sharper after some game time.

Poor passing. Limited energy. Few ideas.
Applies to both sides.
The difference is WHU don't give away daft goals.
Harper looks like he knows what he wants to do but isn't fit enough yet to do it.
Molumby definitely a prospect.

West Ham better all over. More desire and quicker to everything. Our lads seem to think it's a training game!
Harpers shown a couple of nice touches same as Akindayi or whatever his name is but overall we're off the pace.

Walton has made two good saves but has presented a tap in to a hammer on each occasion. Could be unlucky or an unwelcome habit. Ward & Molumby have perhaps been our best players in a half dominated by West Ham & the impressive Samuelsen.

This.

No closing the ball down when they have it in defence. No pressure at all.

Hammers are running around like blue-arse flies and looking well organised.

Hunt has borrowed a Bruno style of tackling. Rather fouling, the opposition shall not pass. Albion looked technically adept and by purpose or accident seem to be conserving their energy (pressing selectively). Predict 2-2.

Hammers were technically good as well, but some of their players seem a bit limited. Quite a fast pace for these sort of games?

Poor Albion passing at times.

Can't pick an Albion player. Barclay looked both good and bad.

That's what a couple of years of Allardyce in charge gives you; we'll get there.

Great covering tackle by Starkey there, having given the ball away originally.
