Not sure if this is on here but according to the sun today, brighton are interested in Paul Wotton of southampton. Does this mean we will not sign Matt Richards.

If we signed Wotton, it would be to play him in midfield. I don't see that would affect Richards' chances.

Been mentioned already a few days ago and hopefully we will sign him.

I thought he was a left back before for plymouth, seem to remember him scoring a few freekicks as well

Yes. I think I remember one against us in our 5-1 drabbing a season or two ago. Shaaban drifting out of the penalty box before the ball left his hands - not for the first time.

was in The Argus he came down for 1 day before Christmas but had a slight calf strain so went back home and came down for training this week.

Surely you go up to Brighton from Southampton.

I would rather we signed a more attack-minded midfielder, but he has to be an improvement on the players we have...

Livermore back in training today so if we sign Bircjall and Wotton we would once again have an experienced midfield.

Argus today says Wotton not a target, just training with us and not fit, Birchall unlikely to be signed as too many international commitments over the rest of this season! So it's back to square 1 then!

Doesn't exactly inspire confidence does it?
