When we did the first card drop to Prescott in Hull I did a little bit for the Hull Dailly Mail and he was more then happy to give us loads of quotes and he also publically appealed to Hull City fans to sign the online petition.

Considering he is playing in a nice new ground and dosnt have to give us the time of day now I think its a bit harsh to slate the fella for what was clearly just a bit of banter.

Good points Morris, I was trying to say something like that earlier, but did not write it as well. I agree with u there mate.

Thank you Strike.

I didnt like him as a manager and the way he resigned the day after the celebratory parade was a bit cheeky but whatever perverse superiority complex some Brighton fans may have Taylor CLEARLY made the right choice for his career.

Hull were a club obviously going places and he got in at the start and was able to build his own team in a way he was never going to be able to do at Brighton.

Regardless of what happens when we get Falmer you cannot expect a well respected manager to hang about waiting.

He does his bit in talking about Falmer when to be honest he is probably sick of being asked about it and mentioning it on Sky etc but fair play, what more can you ask of someone who works for a rival club.

Seems to me he was just engaging in a bit of banter and a few of the holier then thou brigade have got upset by it.

Makes me laugh about leaving a 'big' club. As I said last week people forget that Hull have been in a higher division than us for many years. It's only in the last fifteen years or so that they fell into disarray. I don't blame Taylor for his actions as I said that I didn't think he'd stay (on TV in fact).

I got a mention on SCR yesterday (as a matter of very little importance) as my NSC post was quoted verbatem. At least it wasn't for saying something stupid !

I've never thought he was a great manager anyway, ok he got us promoted but he carried on Micky Adam's side and did his best to f*** it up with his bizarre signings and tactics. Ask any Leicester fan what they think of him too.
