The more likely relationship is Paul Barber who was working with Nike UK (when they were known as umbro) at England I believe

Yes the 2013-14 kit was the first with American Express sponsorship and the last season we had Errea as a kit supplier.

Assuming FAB wasn't consulted on this because the overwhelming feedback is that Nike are shit generic templates, club got this so wrong.

In what way did the club get this wrong? This is a commercial deal that quite rightly the details are confidential. Ok some might not like the design, the fit, the frequency of change, the distribution model, etc, etc but to say the “club got this so wrong” is laughable.
