Here
I visited the shop yesterday to check out the latest Nike wear (Ugh by and large but that's another story). I know they design and sell a load of Albion associated end of pier styleee tat in there but the thing that has always bemused me is the appalling designs and quality of the non-Nike Albion so-called "casual" clothing range. It seems to have been designed either by Alan Partridge or by a 57 year old Accountant with a penchant for Pringle sweaters, Farah slacks and M&S casual shoes. The sad thing is that the club felt compelled to put a stop (I do understand why) to the excellent T-Shirts produced by the Teegulls people without (I assume) thinking to get them on board to design some official stuff for the club. As a Premier League club with strong brand to create and maintain I would've thought this was a key area for image marketing.

Club branded clothing is designed by absolute morons, it is cringeworthy awful and that is being kind

I'm gutted the Teegulls chaps weren't bought under the wing of the club (intended)
They absolutely dropped a goolie with that decision:-

'You can't do that too our brand, but can you please do that with our brand'.

I've been banging on about my need for a new 'lucky' t-shirt all summer, and not found anything that's up to the job.

Off for another last ditch search.

As proof of how desperate this search has become this is probably the best I've found so far :-

Not exactly 'Dunk 'n' Duffy', is it?

I'll be fair and admit I like some of the designs. But rarely buy because the quality is so poor. My other beef is the lack of subtle badgework. Just a seagull or very small badge. I liked the old Tommy Hilfiger type BHA badged shirts and the caps with just a small off centre seagull so I can wear them elsewhere, rather than just the Amex. I bought a new cap for this season, but the badge is too big for casual wear.

Can't disagree about the comments on Albion's own range. It's awful.

But the Teegulls stuff was fun because it played with other company's logos and intellectual properties, which the club obviously can't endorse.

Personally, I'd like to see player T-shirts, as you get in the States, but I guess it could impact actual shirt sales.

I see the club tied up with a headwear specialist. A step forward.

We've mentioned this before. Some clubs have a quite good branded casual range (Spurs I seem to remember), and it's the one area where we really fall down. I perhaps feel it more than some as I don't wear replica shirts and it would be nice to show my allegiance without being garishly clad.

And yes, I'm sure someone is going to make a comment along the lines of "Typical. The club's on the up but people still have to moan about something!". But we are just making observations.

I disagree - I have quite a few tops I have bought from the shop which I wear regularly - particularly on holiday. I would not buy a replica shirt but perhaps it is an age thing. I accept that some of the designs aren't to my taste but there is enough choice for most people.

The Seagull Love Review do the best Albion tee shirts:

Agree with the official club stuff, usually it is pretty crap. The latest Nike ttee shirts with the club logo on seem better than their usual offerings.

Yeah, I appreciate it's all a matter of personal taste, but several times I've been to the shop wanting to buy something but leaving empty-handed as there was nothing that took my fancy.

So squarely aimed at the majority of WSL ST holders then ?

Sounds like Paul Barber's been involved. Were the sweaters mustard-coloured?

Not exactly 'Dunk 'n' Duffy', is it?

all of the Albion tee shirts that l have bought from the club shop over the years seem to be made far too short, so all too often l have been wandering around showing off my belly button.

Not a pretty sight l can assure you.
