Hereford for me 1996-7 is was 9 years old remember it like better then yesterday... and Cardiff 2004 Play Off Finals great day out with the oldman and my little brother!

Luckily the thread title says "days".
Many mentioned so far but if it were only one the FA cup final for me. Just the sheer disbelief that we were actually there and were good and deserved to draw at least!
Can't believe there is no mention of the Orient 4-4 which is the most amazing half of football I have ever seen.
Or the York game and the proof of fan power.
I would like to relive first game at Withdean because I wasn't there and did not appreciate just how important the return to Brigton was (I lived in Kent and the trip to Gillingham was a lot shorter than a trip to Brighton).
And no mention of the 1-0 wins at Selhurst or Upton Park?

If I remember rightly, Charlton came to the Goldstone unbeaten and were ripped apart. Jimmy Case gave one of the best individual performances that I have ever seen. He was unstoppable.
The headlines in the Argus were.." Albion's glorious seven " but in truth we coasted the last 30 minutes.

Yep im in the Hereford camp, I wish my boy had been born to witness this one, it was a day I experience every emotion, tears of sadness followed by tears of joy and disbeleive

Plymouth away in 2001 when we clinched promotion, and the realisation that we had finally turned the corner after 2 years at Gillingham and an indifferent 1st season at Withdean. Goals from Brooker and Zamora ( number 27 of the season and the sixth goal in six games ).

Brighton confirmed their first promotion for 13 years with a win at Plymouth.
The visitors' goals came in the first 16 minutes with wideman Paul Brooker opening the scoring in the third minute.

Argyle failed to deal with Paul Watson's corner from the left and the ball dropped to Brooker on the edge of the area.

He fired in off the post for a Brighton outfit supported by almost 2,000 travelling fans.

Brighton extended their lead thanks to Bobby Zamora's 27th goal of the season and his sixth in six matches.

Gary Hart set up the strike with a run across the face of Plymouth's penalty area and Zamora hammered home from close range.

Someone put up the team for the first game in the championship 10 years ago, the team that day was petty much the same as this one! CRAZY.

Definitely NOT this. Got soaked, f***ing awful game, awful performance. The last kick (alright, header) of the game and the penalties were the only thing that saved it. Of course, that was quite important...

I was there. I've re-lived it many times, especially reading the 'half-time at Hereford' thread. With hindsight, knowing it was merely the End of the Beginning, dampens it a tad, but at the time it was a day never to forget.

But I'd only ever re-live it now in association with the WHOLE Brighton story; in isolation, it was a crap team playing another crap team, playing crap football at the crap end of the league.

Wembey 83 - the whole day seemed to whizz by and it took some time to realise how close we had come to winning.

Hereford - but knowing the result. That day seemed like an eternity and it took years off my life. Too knackered to enjoy anything at the end of the game.
