Play-off Semi Final against Ipswich at The Goldstone in 1991.
Perry Digweed saves a penalty and then injury time Dean Wilkins steps up for a free kick...top corner...mass pitch invasion towards the Ipswich fans.
I have to admit I was one of those naughty ones on the pitch - I was only 11 at the time.

Play off semi against Millwall do you mean?.That was amazing, lunch time kick off,4-1 win and you knew we were heading to Wembley.I was still shaking with excitement when i got home.
The Ipswich game was another memorable occasion.God i love the Albion.

so many great days and nights but the one that always stands out is
Albion 7 Walsal 0
soaked to the skin walking home to Fishersgate and still smiling the morning after with two mates who have gone.
great memories

I was working at Clarks bakery that night and had to leave early. Missed at least three goals as I walked from the north stand round to Newtown Road.

I did and Complete Badger is wrong. Don't get me wrong we played well up at Charlton and deserved to win but the result flattered us a little. Peterborough the result flattered them. People often come out with daft comments like "it could have been 8 or 9" that day it really could have. We missed a pen, hit the woodwork 3 times, Joe Lewis made 4 or 5 outstanding saves.

In the years I've been going I can't recall seeing a better team performance or a more one sided game.

Amazing day!

Me, bruvver, mum and dad - there and back in a day (Hove) - I did all the driving.

'Spose there were a lot of Mini's on the road in those days...more power to you mate for doing at least 100 miles more than me and with twice as many occupants in the car... It was some day though wasn't it?

Also one of my favourite games, Ward 4, Mellor 3, all in the second half.

Feb 1976. Brighton 2-0 CP in the league in front of 33,000 under the Goldstone's lights.
Magical for a young lad ... my first evening game.
The surges in packed terracing I personally found exciting.

Was at the Newcastle 1979, but probably too young to appreciate, and now jealous when I found out in recent times that 10,000 greeted the Albion in the middle of the night at Brighton Station.

Any of the Buckley late winner occasions last season, were immense.

A surprising one - Dickov's Oldham came to Withdean with a plan to time waste for 90 minutes, in Sept 2010. A 96th minute winner sent the crowd into ecstacy, and unexpectedly sent Brighton top ... never to be overtaken.

The 1990/91 season for me, with trip to Anfield, the replay, Zenith Data Cup against Palace, last game of the season witha last gasp winner from Wilkins against Ipswich to fire us into the playoffs, away at Millwall, then of course Wembley in 'that' kit.

Has to be Highbury 83 followed by Newcastle 79 and Hereford. Would we have survived if we had been relegated to the Conference?

The FA Cup semi and Hereford. I missed them both and have always regretted it so I'd make sure, come hell or high water, I was there.

This.

Christ. That game took YEARS off my life I reckon.

This too.

Oh and Forster keeping us up when we teetered....pitch invasion...Russell slade carried across the sunny Withdean field..lovely stuff...also sitting in the south stand at the Goldstone when arsenal beat us in the cup...my first game that.
