Started collecting Air Miles when they first came out and used them for trips to Stockholm, Munich, Madrid, Edinburgh etc. Then they changed to Avios when you had to spend far more to gain the same air miles, plus taxes etc. Whilst I still collect, not very enthusiastically, hardly ever check what flights I can buy.
